I got home late because Luke wanted to show me how to play the electric guitar. He was pretty good, actually. We didn't really talk about the kiss but I admit, I didn't hate it...

Aunt Zoe wasn't home when I got there so I just hung out in my room and listened to Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan. I had on my pink beats.

45 minutes later I got a call on my phone.

"Hello?", I asked.

"Hey, it's Luke. You got a minute?", Luke asked.

"Uh yea. Whatcha need?", I asked.

"I was wondering if you could meet me at school real quick?", he asked.

"I can't I don't had a ride...", I said.

"Well then I can just drive you there", he said happily.

"Oh ok. I'll be at the corner of Astria road".

"I'll see you there".

I put on my 'LIFE GOES ON' shirt with my ripped jeans. I fixed up my makeup a little and put my phone in my pocket. I walked up to the corner of Astria and there was Luke's car, waiting for me.

"So tell me, Brooke, you just get in any random guy's car?", laughed Luke.

"I mean-"

"I'm not complaining", Luke laughed.

"So that girl Nikki from Spanish", I started, "she seems to like you".

"Yea then we go on a date and she turn out to be a brat, right?", he asked.

"...yea", I answered.

When we got to school, Luke got out and opened the door for me. I got out and we went to the band room. He motioned me to sit on a chair.

"I um. I wrote a song for you. It's called Blind", Luke said. He got a chair and an electric guitar.

In a room full a people
Only one of them stands out
The one with gorgeous eyes
The one without a doubt
Even though she's lonely she doesn't seem to care
She looks down at the floor and curls her hair
But I know
She don't know she's perfect
She can't tell
She don't know she worth it
She don't think she's well
Even though boys always tell her she's beautiful
She looks a the floor and her cheeks turn red
When complimented she turns her head
But she's obviously blind
To not see perfection
She's obviously blind
To not see my perspective
And I know
She's perfect
Just the way she is

"Luke that was amazing. You're so talented", I said in awe.

"It's easy when you have such an inspiration", Luke said, smiling.

I got a beep from my phone and I looked at it.

It was from aunt Zoe.
