There is a scene when Azula, Mai, and Ty-Lee are all dressed up as Kyoshi Warriors in Ba Sing Se. In said scene, Azula says "It's terrible when you can't trust the people closest to you." And for the ever so slightest of moments Ty-Lee and Mai glance at each other out of the corner of their eyes.
