I don't know why I am nervous. My husband seen me naked for God's sake! Hindi nga lang tingin ang nagawa ni Skipper sa kabuuan ko. Pero ngayong nakasuot ako ng kakapiranggot na damit, kinakabahan ako.

I don't know how he will react. Matutuwa ba s'ya? O maiinis? Will he find me attractive? Or he prefers that I stay on my conservative style?

Bakit ba kasi ako nagpapadala sa mga kalokohan ni Tiana Miracle?

"Ate! You're so matagal na in the banyo. Come on, we're so late!" Tiana banged her fist on the door.

I took a deep breath, one last look on myself at the mirror, then I went out.

Inirapan na agad ako ni Tiana nang makita ako na lumabas ng banyo.

"God, Tricia Mirielle, you're acting as if it's your wedding gown. What's the big deal ba?" inis na turan ni Tiana at saka hinila na ako sa palapulsuhan ko.

"Wait! My purse," I said.

"You won't need that naman. Sa shore lang ang  party and you're with your husband," Tiana hissed at me.

"What if Dad calls? Or Laila need something regarding the company?"

"This won't be called a vacation for nothing!" Sigaw ni Tiana. "Gosh! Ganyan ka ba sa husband mo? This is your honeymoon!"

"Is not! We're here for his work," I reminded my sister.

"Whatever," Tiana rolled her eyes then continued dragging me.

Kamuntikan pa kaming mahulog sa hagdan dahil sa paghila n'ya sa akin.

"What's with the rush?"

"I met this hot model a while ago. I think he's waiting for me na," Tiana giggled.

I gasped. What the hell? My sister is interested with another guy?

Paano si Adam?

"I think I can use him to make someone jealous," Tiana winked at me.

"Para kay Adam?" I asked with a raised brow.

Tumigil si Tiana sa paghila sa akin at tuluyan akong hinarap. Lukot na lukot ang mukha n'ya at kulang na lang ay itanong sa akin kung nasisiraan na ba ako ng bait.

"Of course not! It's for Nixon," Tiana replied. "Bakit mo naman naisip na si Adam? I don't have business with him."

I rolled my eyes on my sister. "You've been together for years. Don't you want him back?"

"Duh! Ate, that was ages ago. I was too young back then. Adam is wala na lang today. He's just my past. A phase in my life. I don't want to tambay on my past. I want to live my present and that's Nixon," Tiana smiled. It's easy for her to shift her facial expressions and her moods. Minsan nakakainis.

"Nixon has a daughter," paalala ko sa kapatid.

"So?" Tiana raised a brow then crossed her arms.

"And Adam is still into you."

Sumimangot si Tiana. "Adam ka nang Adam. He's not even my friend na nga. Why can't you move on? I am dating Nixon na. Adam was just an old memory. We didn't work then so why should I stick with him now?"

Mukhang napikon na si Tiana dahil nag-martsa na s'ya paalis. Hahabulin ko sana ang kapatid ko kaso ay may biglang yumakap sa akin mula sa likod. Wala na akong nagawa kundi ang mag-buntong hininga.

"Your father won't like it," Skipper whispered near my ear.

"Nag-rerebelde lang 'yang si Tiana. She wants to prove that Dad is not always right. But she's misleading her life," I sighed. "I wonder how long she's going to pretend that Adam doesn't matter anymore."
