SKIPPER

It has been a long day for the whole team. We had to redo some frames because of Tricia's disapproval.

"Thanks for today. We had our dinner around ten in the evening, and it's already eleven now.

She tried working while watching me work, but the environment was too noisy for her taste.

I puffed a stick while walking up the cliff. I need to release some tension.

Kanina, nag-usap kami ni Dax. It was a serious talk. She apologized for leaving me years ago.

I nodded at Tricia's men before I went inside the villa.

My wife is so workaholic.

I went inside the bathroom to brush my teeth and to gargle. Ayaw ni Tricia ng amoy ng sigarilyo.

"Hey, baby," I sweetly whispered at my wife's ear after hugging her from the back.

"Hey," she replied in a hoarse voice.

"Want a cup of tea?" I asked.

She shook her head. "I know you're tired, Kipp.

"Okay," I replied then I kissed her temple.

I decided to make a cup of tea for her. Camomile tea is her favorite.

"A cup for my signorina," I sweetly said then I placed the cup and saucer near her laptop.

I pulled Tricia up then I sat on her chair.

"There's a chair over there," Tricia pointed out.

I held on her hand then pulled it to kiss it. "I missed you the whole day," I murmured on her shoulder. I started kissing her on the neck. "I'm sorry for being too busy, baby," I held her tighter.

"It's alright. I can understand," she replied then caressed my arm around her waist.

We stayed like that for moments, in silence, feeling the gentle caress of the wind, adoring the beautiful night sky in front of us.

"Let me fix my things," Tricia said then tried to get up. Mas niyakap ko s'ya at ibinaon ko ang ulo ko sa leeg n'ya. "Skipper, mahiga na tayo."

I sighed then I drop three kisses on her shoulder. "Alright.

My wife took her tea then sat on the other chair. She reached for her phone then started working on it while I arrange her things. I closed her laptop then I placed the assembled folders on top of it. I started working on the wires of her charger and the extension she used.
