there's something graceful and
beautiful
in finding yourself-
gripping your own shards so tightly
in your tear coated palms
that you start to bleed
holding them close
because you never
thought
they could-
would be found
holding them up
to the hole
in your chest
laughing and crying
because even though you are more broken
than you have ever been
you know
you can be fixed
and when you sticky tape the pieces back together
you notice that a few are
missing
but you know what to do
you weave one of out love
and for the first time
apply it to yourself
