Is This What You Want?

"I think I may be into deep... There's no way around this. Everything that has already happened between us, was wrong... I could get fired today if anyone found out..." He spoke in hushed tones, I could smell the mint from his breath as his words caressed my ears. My stomach turned, knowing that I was causing him so much stress, I had to fight some tears that were beginning to form within my eyes. This wasn't fair. To him or me.

"...But I don't care-" Instantly, my insides fluttered as I looked at him. His eyes searching my own. Something sitting in them that I have never seen before. I couldn't speak, I didn't know what to say. Did this mean he wanted to try this? He wanted to give us a shot?

"I have never met anyone like you (Y/n)... Not a single soul on this Earth has ever caused me to feel this way before-" I felt his cold hand finally rest against my neck, turning my head up, to match his gaze.

"I've made my decision, and I'm not going to let anything stop me from seeing you..." He stared down at me, his gaze quickly shifting back and forth, studying both of my eyes at once. His irises shimmering with love and new found confidence.

"All I need to know is..." He used his free hand to cup the other side of my face. I was so focused on his words that I was barely aware that both of my hands were clenched around his dress robes.

"Is this what you want?" His face was now mere centimeters from my own. I couldn't stop the adrenaline in my stomach, causing my knees to become slightly numb.

"I've never wanted anything more." I barely got out my words before I felt Severus's cold, chapped lips press into my own. Instantly, I lost my sense of reality and my stomach, his kiss felt like I was riding a roller coaster. I felt his hand holding the back of my neck as he wrapped his arm around my frame, pulling me into his chest. Our lips matched one another's as he deepened our kiss. We moved slow, breathing in each other, not wanting this moment to end. I wrapped my arms around his neck, before slipping my hand into his hair. It was just as soft as I imagined. I entangled my fingers in his silk like locks as he hoisted me into the air. On instinct, I wrapped my legs around his waist as my hands found their way to each of his cheeks. With me in his arms, he turned around setting me on top of his already cleaned desk. Did he plan this? I thought as our kiss intensified. In this moment, for the first time in my life, I felt whole. Like I had found the one thing that I didn't even know I had loss. I melted into his kiss and his touch. This was all it took for me to realize I had fallen in love with Severus Snape. I felt his hands slide underneath my robe, removing it from my shoulders. He then rested a few fingers on my wrist, before slowly grazing his touch to my short sleeve shirt that was covering my shoulder. It was like he was trying to memorize the way my skin felt. I had to keep reminding myself that this was really happening. I was making out with my Potions Professor. I smiled into our kiss before Severus reluctantly pulled away from me. He was out of breath and so was I. I bit my bottom lip before letting a genuine smile escape as I looked at him. His grin was just as big as mine as he looked down at my lap. He was standing in between my legs, my skirt making the scene look more inappropriate than it actually was. Or possibly not? I thought. For the first time since I met him, his cheeks had turned a deep red.

"We should get you to class..." He chuckled before picking me up and setting me back on the ground. He grabbed my Gryffindor robe, holding it open, helping me slip it back on over my shoulders. I turned to face him as he began fixing my tie and straightening out my uniform. Once he was done making sure I looked untouched, he held my hand, walking me over to the door. I turned to face him, searching his features. He was flushed, but an uncontrollable smile was plastered across his mouth. I don't think I have ever seen him so happy... and it was all because of me... My heart soared at the thought of being the reason for his happiness.

"I don't want to leave now," I said, not realizing I was still out of breath from the moment we just shared. What would of happened if I stayed? Severus leaned down, placing a soft peck to my lips as he tucked a small stray hair behind my ear.

"I don't want you to go... But, it won't be long- I promise." He placed another quick peck to my cheek before unlocking the door for me. Trying to act as normally as possible, I took one last glance over my shoulder to meet his eyes. He flashed me a small smirk, then shut the door. I focused on making my way through the corridor with a new spring in my step. Hopefully, I could still catch the tail end of DADA.
