"J..Jennie?" Lisa breathes out with her eyes growing wider with each passing second. Her chest began to heave and the faint colors on her face seemed to drain the longer she stared at Jennie. Jennie could only open and close her mouth, not knowing what to say. She mentally cursed in her head for completely forgetting what she had or needed to say.

But none of that mattered anymore. What mattered was the look Lisa had. It caused Jennie to struggle to stay put rather than running towards Lisa and immediately embracing her. Steal her even. Steal her from whatever cruel life she was dealing with.

"What're you doing here?" Lisa seemed panicked and quickly marched her way to the confused Jennie. She places her hands on Jennie's shoulders and shook it in fear slightly. Jennie tried to speak but she could only stare silently at the emptiness and fear in Lisa's eyes.

It was creating a pinching feeling in her chest that she lost control with her hand. She had slowly reached up and placed a strand of Lisa's hair behind her ear. She smiled lightly seeing as Lisa had leaned her cheek against the finger that was tracing her cheek when suddenly something crashed inside the house.

Jennie and Lisa flinches hearing another glass shattering but Lisa kept her eyes locked into the piercing brown eyes she has missed. Jennie gulps nervously and carefully replies as she slowly dropped her hand from Lisa's face and gripped onto the hem of her shorts nervously.

"I-I wanted to s-see you." Jennie whispers. Hearing that come out of Jennie's pink lips, Lisa's grip on Jennie's shoulders softened. With a small smile, Lisa slowly places both hands on Jennie's cheeks and rubbed soothing circles on the smooth service of her skin causing Jennie's heart to once again hammer through her chest. Jennie slowly places her hands over Lisa's and caresses it lightly with her thumb after noticing Lisa's trembling body.

"A-are you okay?" Jennie cautiously asks causing Lisa's smile to widen slightly, but not as wide as her usual smile but it was progress. She nods while leaning down and delicately placing her forehead on Jennies.

"I will be." Jennie's matches her smile slightly and closes her eyes as well, enjoying the warmth and Lisa's sweet scent that was radiating off her body. They stayed in that position for a moment, no one wanting to utter a single word but Jennie had so many questions. So, as Jennie opens her mouth to ask Lisa what was going on, a cold voice boomed from the front of the house, causing Lisa body to stiffen once again and both of their eyes to simultaneously shoot open.

"Who's this Pranpriya?" Lisa grits her teeth at the woman who was staring at them from behind. They pull their heads apart but continue to stay in the same position. Jennie darted her eyes over Lisa's shoulder and noticed an older woman, who looked quite similar to her Lisa, holding a bottle of beer.

'at 1 in the afternoon?'

Noticing Lisa's figure beginning to tremble out of anger, she shifts her eyes back to the thai and frowns at the sight. Lisa's eyes were clenched tight and her lips were quivering as if she was holding in all her control. Jennie found herself growing the need to change Lisa's expression. It was so dark and so cold. It was an expression that was screaming for help.

Jennie reaches forward and places both of her hands on Lisa's waist and squeezes to remind her that she wasn't alone. The blonde opens her eyes and instantly sees warmth and security in Jennie's mesmerizing brown eyes. The look in Jennie's eyes and the reassuring smile had immediately helped her body soften. She takes a deep breath and focuses on Jennie's deep brown eyes.

"Go back inside mom." Lisa civilly demands as their gazes remained locked onto each other. Jennie's eyes widen for second as she realizes the drunk woman behind them was Lisa's mother. The mother scoffs and eyes them. But as realization dawned on her, the mother had let out a cold, dark laugh that caused a chill to go down Jennie's spine.
