"Hey Z, what's up?" Tom says, phone balancing between his cheek and shoulder as he held his laptop and a glass of water up the stairs to his bedroom.
"Tom, are you going to bed now?" Zendaya asked, her voice cracking a little from the phone signal across the Atlantic.
Tom checks the time on his alarm on his bedside table, seeing it was gone midnight, but he wasn't at all fatigued.
"Nope, why?"
"We need to talk about Scarlett."
Tom sighs, his legs outstretched on the bed, rubbing the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger. "Zendaya, I really don't want to talk about it anymore-"
"I don't care! Tell her how you feel." Her voice was a little raised, and Tom raises his eyebrows, deciding it was best for his ears if he placed his phone on the bed and on speaker.
"She's dating Theo I swear-"
"Only because she thinks you don't love her! She's still trying to convince herself that going on little dates with him because she's trying to tell herself that's what she wants!"
Tom groans, his head thrown back on the bed as it banged harshly against the bed post in frustration.
"I'd rather be her best friend than anything else, it's all I've ever known with Scar." He shrugs, doing the thing that Zendaya is telling him what Scarlett was doing.
"C'mon, Tom, you're more determined than this. Don't make a decision when it's too late."
The line went dead sharply after, and Tom sighs, frowning when he looks upon his home screen, the photo of when Scarlett surprised him on his birthday three months ago.

ok i've deliberated this a lOT, but i decided every time i give y'all an update ( which still remains to be every 3 days ) u'll get 2 updates until my exams start on may 10th.
then, imma give u 1 update every 2 days, which i think is fair !!
