three hours onto being entrapped

soonyoung and jihoon spent their the rest of their second hour inside the elevator talking about their favorite movies and giving comments about it.

"you know i never thought you'd actually be somehow a cool person" jihoon says opening a bit more.

"i could say the same." soonyoung chuckles.

"well of course, at first i thought you were some kind of arrogant weirdo since you kinda almost ran over me awhile ago. not that much of a good first impression, which i meant to say the one that usually lasts". jihoon laughs a bit, his hand bringing up to his mouth.

"yeah i remember, and i'm truly sorry about earlier, please forgive me? give me a chance, and i promise you that you will have a better impression of me before we're out of this contraption." soonyoung says with a wink

jihoon chokes on air from this statement, getting flustered and red . "what the hell does that even mean? i knew it you are some weirdo."

soonyoung tried his best not to pinch the other's cheeks, was he aware of how naturally adorable he was?

"hey i swear you better stop acting cute or else i might not be able to control myself from pinching your cheeks." soonyoung rants.

"w-what the hell. okay i'll stop myself from being too cute for your own good." was what jihoon wanted to say.

"w-what the hell. uhm okay i guess" jihoon says.

"okay then.. should we talk about how you and your friends are? how are they like?" soonyoung grins.

jihoon pauses a bit to think on how to respond to the other. "hm well okay then, well i live in this apartment complex together with my friend, wonwoo, who keeps on bringing his boyfriend, mingyu so basically hes living with us now. hes the giant ass puppy who keeps on pestering me and i still cant believe i am able to tolerate him up to this day. then i have some other friends who are just wild and crazy enough for my own good, but you know i love them much to my dismay, but thats a story for next time" jihoon finishes with a content sigh.

soonyoung takes his time to digest the information given to him, and hums in understanding. "damn i know what that literally feels like. i live in this apartment complex which is very obvious, and im rooming with junhui who came from China who also happens to be my teammate in dancing. not only that but his lover, minghao usually crashes at our place so im used to us being three in the room. well additionally i have other wild friends, but thats also another story for next time." soonyoung winks as he mocked what jihoon just said.

"shut up, stop trying to quote what i just said." jihoon says as he stuck out his tongue out to annoy him.

"its funny how ironic our stories are. our lovebird friends are so lucky that we dont charge them the extra fee of them staying and doing excessive PDA in our rooms." soonyoung jokingly states.

"i. know. right." jihoon emphasized each word, he couldn't agree more to what soonyoung said.

the smaller was still honestly in awe as to how the two could simply be so outgoing despite him being an introverted person, well thats what he describes himself.

"hey, dont you think this is a calling?" soonyoung starts up.

"huh what do you mean?" the other questions.

"well i mean maybe fate wanted us to meet like this, like by being entrapped in an elevator for several hours. for us to be friends, or maybe even more." soonyoung said, but the last phrase was only in his head.

"hm i dont know, but maybe fate would want to speed things up a little and get us both out of here faster so we can take this and properly hang out normally outside" jihoon says as a matter of fact.

something sparks up inside soonyoung. "he's willing to continue this even after. all this" soonyoung says internally, he couldn't help but beam from excitement.

jihoon sees the other's bright reaction, and couldn't help but also smile positively.

"you know you're not so bad soonyoung-ah." jihoon says with a sincere tone.

"you're not so bad yourself jihoonie." soonyoung says incorporated with another wink.
