Demi's POV

We finally arrive to the station, Addy is a nervous wreck. She's trying to hide it, but I can feel her shaking next to me. I let out a deep sigh as I open the door and take hold of her hand, gently pulling her out besides me. We walk in to station and Wilmer walks us into his office

"Can I offer you girls some water? Snacks? Anything?" Wilmer says as he looks at both of us

Addy just shakes her head softly and I decline the offer as well. Wilmer sits across from us and looks at Addy

"You can start whenever you're ready honey" he says to her in a calm voice. Addy just shutters at his words then speaks softly

"Can we talk...alone...?" She says and I look at her with furrowed eyebrows. Why doesn't she want me in here? Doesn't she know that I would never judge her..

"I want to stay here Addy.." I turn to her and say and she doesn't move

"It would be more convenient if Demi stayed in the room, since I do have to question her about the events that took place tonight as well"

Addy looks at the ground

"Just tell me, how did you meet her?" Addy pulls her knees up against her chest and I know it's time for me to step in

"I'll tell you my side of the story first Wilmer. If that's okay?" I turn and look at him and he nods in approval

"Adelaide forced me out of her house last night.. we were going to spend the entire weekend together but then something made her panic, I didn't know what at the time. I thought I had done something wrong. I saw pain and fear in her eyes. So I finally budged and left. I worried about her all night. And tried reaching out to her on numerous occasions. But it would go straight to voicemail, or she wouldn't answer my texts. Not even look at them. So I started to get really worried about what could possibly be wrong. About 2 hours ago. I attempted to call her for the last time, before I got in my car and drove to her house, and she finally answered. I could hear that her voice was completely shattered. And against her wishes, I told her that I was coming over just to check on her and make sure she was alright." I stop as a tear streams down my cheek and Wilmer looks up at me

"Take your time Demi" I nod and I continue telling my side of things

"When I got to her house, everything was dark, she didn't want me to see her. After about an hour of trying to convince her to turn on the lights I gave up and sat her up on the counter and turned them on myself. What I saw horrified me. Her face is completely bruised. I felt a lot of anger. And pain inside of me. But I tried to remain calm for her. I told her to take off her clothes, because I wanted to see if she had any more bruising on her. She finally agreed and we walked to her room. She slid off her clothes and revealed a horrific sight. Her entire body is covered in bruises, welts, gashes. Anything you could possibly imagine. That was it. My blood was boiling. So I asked her who had done this to her, she was very hesitant but she finally answered 'Gabriella' the woman who you took away in an ambulance"

"So how did Gabriella end up back at Adelaides home?"

"I told Addy to call her and tell her to come over. She got there soon after in nothing but a robe. Wearing a... strap on..
I hid behind the door and I saw as she man handled Addy .. she pushed her to the ground and forced herself onto her. I grabbed a candle holder from the stand next to the door and smashed it against her head. Then dragged her to the wall. And the rest.. well, you saw what I did" I look at Addy who is shaking in her chair, clutching onto her knees as she rocks herself back and forth, I kiss her head softly to reassure her that everything will finally be okay, but she looks up at me with the same dead eyes and expression as before. No feelings. No emotion. Just dead. I let out a deep sigh and Wilmer turns his attention to Addy
