A MONTH LATER IN THE DIABOLIK WORLD AND THE WHOLE SAKAMAKI MANOR WAS NOW ONLY REALLY STARTING TO ACCEPT CORDELIA'S NEW ATTITUDE. At first they thought it was an act to gain attention but since her new attitude didn't changed they were getting used to it. From the servants to the other wives, Beatrix and Christa, and even Karlheinz.

Cordelia was more open ad calm, especially with the other wives, she still did flirt with people but it was more playful than anything serious. Everyone in the manor had agreed that the birth of her children was a good thing as it changed her personality for the better. And they prayed that it would stay.

The purple haired woman was sat comfortably on one of the chairs in the rose garden, holding an awake Kanato in her arm. Cordelia's other two children were sleepy and she instructed a maid to inform her if they wake up. She was reading a children's book to Kanato, who was staring at the book in fascination.

"Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Goldilocks. She went for a walk in the forest and stumbled across a house. She knocked on the door but no one answered but being a curious girl, she walked right in. She walked into a kitchen and in the middle of the kitchen was a table with 3 bowls of porridge. Goldilocks was hungry so she tried the first bowl of porridge. "It's too hot!" She exclaimed, so she tried the second bowl. "It's too cold!" She said, so she tried the third bowl "Ahhh, this is just right" she said happily and eat all the porridge.....Just then Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears. She screamed for "Help!" And she jumped up and ran out of the room, down the stairs, opened the door and ran out of the forest. The end."

Green eyes glanced down at the sleeping baby, she quietly shut the book, placing it on the table. "I suppose I better put you to bed," hummed Cordelia, getting up from the seat, leaving for her room.

On her way to the bedroom, Cordelia crossed paths with Christa.
"Hello Cordelia..." said the white haired woman, glancing at the ground unsure of what to do. "Hello to you to Christa," replied Cordelia with baby Kanato in her arms.

"How is your child?" Softly asked Christa while looking at the purple haired baby in curiosity. Kanato was the only triplet to inherit Cordelia's hair colour.

"Sleeping. I'm about to put him with his brothers. I should let you hold him, when he is awake of course." Christa nodded with a smile, she found children adorable. "Cordelia, why are you being so nice to me?"

Cordelia looked surprised but answered the question "Would you believe me if I said that I want to be a different person? I've always secretly wanted children and now that I have them, I have the responsibility to teach and nurture them, so I don't want them to turn out like me." Christa couldn't think of a response and so just smiled. "Would you like to accompany me, so that I can put him into his bed. Then we can go and have some tea."

"Okay, Cordelia," said Christa since she had nothing to do anyway but she would still be cautious of the other woman. They walked into the extravagant room, filled with the finest luxury items one could buy.

Cordelia paid know mind and placed Kanato into his crib with his brothers. The maid that she had told to look after her children had walked back into the room. "Agatha," told Cordelia to the maid.

The maid looked cautiously at Cordelia as she stepped forward. "Yes, my lady?" Asked the maid, showing respect towards Cordelia.

"Can you go make some tea?" Told Cordelia, glancing towards Christa. "Enough for two and bring it the garden."

"Of course, my lady," replied Agatha as she left for the kitchen. Cordelia turned her attention back to Christa. "Shall we go to the garden?"

Christa and Cordelia walked back to the garden, both sitting down at the table, waiting patiently for the maid to bring them their tea."Have you ever thought about children, Christa?" Asked Cordelia, trying to break the uncomfortable silence.

"I have. I have always wanted a little girl," thoughtfully said Christa. "I'm sure that the baby will be cute just like her mother," hummed Cordelia. Agatha, the maid had returned with a tray, containing sandwiches and tea. She placed the sandwiches and tea on the table then poured the tea into two cups and served them to Cordelia and Christa.

"If that is everything, I shall take leave for my chores," told
Agatha, leaving the two women to their own company. Cordelia picked up her tea and sipped on it lightly, Christa also had her tea in hand.

"Ah, my favourite, lemon tea," complemented Cordelia, the wind blowing in her hair. "While I prefer rose, lemon is also quite nice too," said Christa, placing the tea down on the table and picking up a sandwich from the plate.

"Rose tea huh? I should try that," hummed Cordelia.

"You should have some with me, I mean only if you wanted to!" Exclaimed Christa, happy at the thought of having someone else to talk too. It was rather lonely at the manor, Beatrix was her main talking partner, apart from her husband, of course. But now she was too busy preparing Shu to be the heir of the family.

"We should, I could also bring my children to met you as well." Cordelia said, picking up a sandwich to eat. "I would love to!" Exclaimed Christa while getting up from her seat, walking over to the other woman and hugging her. This action surprised Cordelia but she let Christa continue to hug her until she let go.

"I'm so sorry that I didn't ask, Cordelia," told Christa, looking at Cordelia with fear in her eyes. "It's fine but next time ask," said Cordelia. The white haired woman sighed in relief.

"If it isn't my two lovely wives," smirked Karlheinz as he revealed his presence to his two wives. He had wanted to relax in the rose garden but it was currently occupied by his two wives, so he decided that he should join them.

"Onii-sama!" Happily cried Christa, Karlheinz gave her a fake smile but she didn't know that.

"Karl," said Cordelia, annoyed at his presence. She wanted to spend her time with Christa, not him. He could die in a hole for all she cared.

"Cordelia." He gave another fake smile, Cordelia wasn't fooled for a moment. So in return she also gave a fake smile directed at him.

"Sit down, onii-sama!" Christa called childishly, dragging Karlheinz to the seat beside hers.

Karlheinz looked at Cordelia for her usual jealousy, when he paid more attention to his other wives than her but there was none. Cordelia was just sitting there, contempt with drinking her tea and looking at her nails, boredly. This deeply irritated him, why wasn't he getting her attention?

Cordelia placed the cup down and stood up. "If you excuse me, I have other business to attend to," said Cordelia, looking at them both but then turned to face Christa, giving her a small smile. "If you ever want someone to talk to, you know where to find me."

"Okay, Cordelia," told a happy Christa, Karlheinz completely forgotten by her. Cordelia left the two. Karlheinz knew that he would have to spend more time with Cordelia so that he could accurately re-evaluate her, it was after all for the greater good of the species, right?

"Onii-sama," stated Christa, bringing Karlheinz out of his thoughts. "Yes?" He questioned.

"I like the new Cordelia." Karlheinz nodded and gave a seductive smile. "Why don't you tell me what the two of you were talking about?"

"Of course, onii-sama."
