Eryn:

Going back downstairs I wiped my face of any tears and sat next to Ben and was quiet for a moment to get my thoughts together.

"You aight?" He asked rubbing over my hand making tear well up in my eyes. It was always when someone asked you if you're okay makes you wanna breakdown

"No." I shook my head sniffling "I have something to tell you I just don't want you to hate or leave me when I tell you." I told him looking at him

"Stop crying E." He tried to wipe face free of tears "I ain't gon' hate you just tell what's goin' on."

"So you know I was in a bad relationship with somebody." He nodded waiting for me to continue "Um- I been trying to break things off with him but he isn't letting me." I bit down on my lip out of nervousness "He's been putting his hands on me."

"Eryn.." He trailed off

"Please let me finish." I sniffled wiping the tears that eventually fell "I know I should've got out the situation before dealing with you or even trying to get serious about us. I'm sorry." I put face into my hands

"Baybeh look at me." He said removing my hands from face wiping my face free of tears but they kept falling no matter how much he wiped them "I make you happy?"

"Yes more than anything."

"You want ta' be wit' me." I nodded my head "I need ta' hear you say that shit E." He demanded

"Yes I want to be with you."

"That's all I need ta' hear." He kissing my lips softly "Wit' ya' snot nose." He said making me chuckle

"Shut up." I said grabbing a piece of tissue and whipped my nose

"When the last time he put his hands on you." He asked getting serious which was something he barley ever did

"Last week before I went to see you." I said putting my head down in shame

"So those bruises on your ribs was from that nigga?" He asked as his jaw clenched

"Yes. Ben don't do nothing stupid." I told him as he was looking off into space

"Let me take you home." He mumbled grabbing my hand leading me upstairs of the house and towards the car

"My Benny." An older lady came up to us

"Hey Maw." He hugged and kissed her cheek while smiling you can tell he adored her

"Who is this pretty girl." She smiled genuinely at me

"Eryn this Maw, Maw this Eryn."

"Nice to meet you sweetheart." She hugged me

"You as well."

"Y'all staying for dinner." She looked over at Ben

"Not today Maw I'll be back later on today."

"Okay I see you then." She said going into the house

"Are you going to stay at my house with me for a while?" I asked

"Yea." He mumbled grabbing his free him I intertwined our hands together as he drove

"Ben you're tense." I looked over at him as his jaw flexed as he drove
