I grab for the door handle, taking deep, heavy breaths. It'll be okay. I look over at my mom smiling. "Thank you for dropping me off." I reach over and give her a big hug. As a sophomore, it was kind of embarrassing watching everyone pull up in their fancy cars and I had my mom drop me off because I was scared of joining a new school in the middle of the year. "Have a great day, Hye-Jin!" I finally stepped out of the car and walked through the gates. The schoolyard got really quiet, and everyone was watching me while whispering. "It's just because you're new." A girl with light brown hair, a little taller than me, and round glasses said. She was very pretty and told everyone to continue with their day. She smiled at me, "Maya!" She pointed to the boy next to her, "And this is Jake, my twin brother." I nodded, "I'm Hye-Jin." She nodded and linked arms with me, "Let's become friends!" I smiled, a little surprised, and she showed me to the teacher's room to get my schedule. "Damn, you're not in any of my classes, but you have Jake in some of your classes." Jake smiled at me, "Class is about to start, Maya don't be late, I'll show her to our class." Maya pouted while we were separating ways. "Our class isn't too far. Try to memorize the way, I'm not always with Maya, so that means I won't always be able to walk with you." I chuckled and nodded, following him through the hallways.

When we made it to the class, the teacher was already trying to settle the class down. "Sorry, we're late. We were getting her schedule." I looked at the teacher. Jake sat down, and the teacher took me to the front. I bowed to him and the class, "Hello, I'm Park Hye-Jin, I hope we can get along and be friends." I saw the class give me a little wave, and then I looked at the teacher. "I'm Mr. Lee, I'll be your homeroom teacher. I'm going to get you to sit next to Mr. Kim. Taehyung, please raise your hand!" I saw a guy with his head on the table raise his hand a little. Girls raised their eyebrows, and death glared at me as I walked past them. I slowly sat at the desk next to him, and class started. "Hye-Jin, right?" The guy next to me said. "Hm? Yes, that's my name." He didn't say anything, so I went back to the lesson. "Like, from Kyeongbuk High?" I quickly turn my head and see him staring at me. "Kim?" At that moment, the bell rang. "Ms. Park, I'll give you extra days to catch up on work, class dismissed." Taehyung quickly hugged me. I blinked hard; how did I not catch that when the teacher told me to sit next to him? All the girls around us gasped and started whispering. One of the girls whispered something that made everyone stop whispering. "Tae~" A girl's high-pitched voice was cut off, and Taehyung stopped hugging me. "I'll catch you around, Hye." I watched him walk to the shocked girl at the door. "Hye-Jin, come on!" Jake yelled for me. I packed all my stuff and walked to the library with him. "I meet Maya in the library, and then we sneak out for study hour." I looked at him confused. "What's study hour?" He looked at me and chuckled. "It's exactly what is said, except it's an hour and 40 minutes of pure studying." We walked into the library and saw Maya. I didn't pay much attention to them but to the library. It was huge, there were so many books, areas for just sitting, and tables for extra room, but not many kids. "You, okay?" Maya asked. I nodded and smiled, "I've never been in such a big library, and I've always wanted to be in a big one!" Jake chuckled. I walked to a shelf and ran my hand through all the books. It was a mess, and I loved it. "The books haven't been organized in years. Anyway, we're going to an arcade. Wanna stick along?" I shook my head. "I'm going to enjoy this library." Maya nodded her head slowly. "Well, don't get too lost in here. Lunch is right after this." I nodded, grabbing some books and waving bye to them.

It was lunchtime, but Maya and Jake weren't back. I didn't know where to sit. "Hye-Jin, come sit with us!" A boy from a group yelled at me. How did he know my name? Before I moved, a girl yelled, "Well, don't ignore him!" I widened my eyes and hurried to the table before I got yelled at more. When I got there, I saw their faces clearly and smiled brightly. "Did y'all like all move to the same place and not tell me?" They all chuckled, and I gave them all a big hug. There were six of them, 3 of them were seniors, 2 were juniors, and 1 was the same as me. Kim Seok-Jin, Min Yoongi, and Jung Hoseok are the seniors. Kim Namjoon and Park Jimin are the juniors, and Jeon Jungkook is a sophomore. Jungkook was also my middle school crush and still is. "Where's Taehyung?" After I said that, he sat down, "Sorry, I was in the bathroom." I smiled and sat next to Jungkook, obviously. We started little conversations about how we've been. It's only been a year since we split, but we had a lot to catch up on. We've all known each other since my 2nd-grade year but split up my freshmen year. Halfway through lunch, I looked up to find everyone staring at me. "Um, guys, it was nice catching up," I stood up with all my things, "but I'm gonna go find Maya." I waved bye as they all looked at me confused. I ignored all the glares being thrown at me and walked out of school. I saw Jake and Maya sitting under a tree. I smiled going to them. "Hey, guys!" They waved at me. "You're just in time. My boyfriend is about to come out." I sat down and nodded. "Here he comes!" I turn around and then look back at Maya with widened eyes. "Hey, Yoongi," Jake said and gave him a fist bump. "Your boyfriend is Yoongi, as in THE Min Yoongi?" She chuckled and nodded. Yoongi is the only one I've known since I was born. Our parents are high school friends and Yoongi and I were supposed to be born at the same time, but my mother's second pregnancy was a miscarriage, so we were born years apart. He was like my older brother. I do have an older brother, he's older than me and Yoongi.

I'm finally rewriting! Decided to throw in information that was told later in the story, for example, Mark. He was supposed to come in at chapter 5. And I changed the plot up a little, but other than that it's still the same just written WAY better!
