The anthropod Queen could not be killed. The moment it was killed, all the anthropods would rebel and then humanity's defensive line would probably not even last an hour. The reason why Shang Ke had people find the anthropod Queen was not to kill it, but to "kidnap" it.

The build of the Queen was smaller than the variants, its black shell would have a dark purple shine and a special tool must be used to find it. During the anthropod attack, the anthropod sandstorm had some effect on Via City so their readings could not find the Queen's position. Now that it was found, it cannot hide from their readings anymore.

As long at they bring the Queen to the human defense area, the anthropod army will also shift accordingly. The only difficult point was that outside of Via City the anthropod sandstorm was everywhere. Pulling a five mile distance from the anthropod was impossible. Furthermore, with the anthropod's speed, they would be able to make a round trip in not even ten minutes.

Shang Ke must take the Queen into the anthropod sandstorm, however far he could take it. But any means of transportation was unable to make them through the anthropod sandstorm, so they could only do so on foot. With the storm in addition to the weight of the protective gear and equipment, even with an alpha's strong body, they likely wouldn't go far. What's more, the protective gear did not promise that one would not be affected by the radiation—the original was the best proof even though the reason why he had been affected was mainly because his protective gear has been damaged on during his escape.

However, it was the best choice right now.

At this moment, the anthropods restarted their attack. The soldiers all dragged their beaten bodies to fight purely on willpower. There was another three days until the storm ends, the defensive line of Via City was already on the brink of collapse.

Shang Ke knows that he can't drag this out anymore. He wore a set of protective gear and leaned on the back of a fighter aircraft.

The fiercely fighting soldiers did not pay attention to Shang Ke who was wearing protective gear while lying on on a aircraft fighter along with two other aircraft fighters rushing into the sea of bugs, heading straight for the Queen.

"What is he trying to do?" Several hundred meters outside of the war zone, Lin Jie watched Shang Ke from the screen.

"Capturing the Queen and drawing away the anthropod army." Rhine wore a grave expression and his tone was incomparably calm.

"Five miles out is the anthropod sandstorm, it is simply impossible for him to draw away the anthropods too far. He would just be throwing away his life in vain." Lin Jie pursed his brows.

"I think," Rhine calmly spoke, "his main purpose is to stall for time."

Lin Jie no longer spoke, but his eyes held admiration as he watched Shang Ke again. It was likely that no one expected this novice young second lieutenant to show such remarkable and courageous actions during the impasse of near death. He was fully aware that he won't be able to do it, but still did it. Even if death was ahead, he would still walk forward.

"How are the readings of the anthropod sandstorm? When will it end?" Rhine asked.

Lin Jie answered, "The lastest reading said four days. The storm will gradually start shrinking in two days and the radiation intensity would also be reduced.

Rhine's eyes turn a shade darker, "Too long, at most two days. Have the first and second battle squads prepare for a rescue."

Within the sea of bugs, two aircraft fighters were in charge of being screens while one was in charge of capturing the Queen. A dozen minutes later, the four of them had grabbed the Queen before being buried by the swarm and then rushed full throttle out of the anthropod's encirclement, heading for the opposite direction of Via City.
