New beginnings

"Sehun.. your back" something in Baekhyun felt off.. he didn't imagine himself ever saying those words

"I'm back" his smile.. it hurt Baekhyun he hadn't seen that for a long time, he didn't know how he should react his throat seem to tighten he couldn't think straight He's back..

Baekhyun felt excited, happy his voice still sounded the same to the younger but just it was just a bit deeper, softer and more gentle

Baekhyun stared in awe at Sehun for a few seconds he admired his prominent facial features his sharp jawline his high cheek bones

"W-What are you doing here" his voice was shaking the words seemed like they would get caught in his throat

"I finally moved back" Sehun smiled at the younger again

Then as if the universe wanted Baekhyun to be mad he remembered how Sehun just left him without saying anything, Sehun's new boyfriend, how he's with Chanyeol anyway and all the small painful memories that Baekhyun had blocked seemed to stay at his hurt all together

"Oh..cool" he replied coldly trying to pass Sehun

"Wow what kind of reaction was that? I thought you missed me" Sehun pouted as he gently grabbed Baekhyun

He didn't understand his own emotions they seemed to be tangled and intertwined with one another like happiness and love, hatred and hurt they all seemed to connect one way or another

"Well for your information I didn't really miss you" Baekhyun shrugged and continued to walk back to his boyfriend who was completely unaware of what was going on from where he was sitting

Still he could feel Sehun right behind him which caused him to smile to himself

"Oh my gosh!! CHANYEOL!!" Sehun pushed Baekhyun out of the way slightly

"S-Sehun??" Chanyeol stuttered as he saw the tall male approaching him

He quickly stood and hugged his old friend

"I missed you!!"

"I missed you too!!"

Baekhyun watched as the boy he used to be in love with and the boy he is in love with now hug and talk as any old friend would

"At least you missed me unlike Baekkie" Sehun laughed as he complained to Chanyeol like the baby he was

Baekhyun held back a smile

"Whatever Channie is more mean than me whenever I ask for something he just takes it from me" Baekhyun gave his boyfriend a sad pouting look

Chanyeol got up and sat down next to his boyfriend "I love you babe" Chanyeol cooed as he wrapped his arms around Baekhyun and kissed his head

Baekhyun's cheek turned a bright red as he stuck his tongue out at his boyfriend who seemed amused by his childish behavior

'I love you babe'

It hurt, it hurt Sehun

"Sehun-ah why are you staring" Chanyeol laughed

"N-Nothing" Sehun forced himself to smile as he saw how Baekhyun blushed and nuzzled against Chanyeols chest "You guys are really cute together"

"I'll be back I'm gonna get something to drink" He smiled and stood up

He dragged himself to the counter his heart hurt it was like someone had stabbed him with a hot iron rod

He ordered a coffee which was something he grew to love when he was in the states it was something that he found comfort in it was the same there as it was when he lived in Korea he was alone

His mom always working until she met a new guy at her job he seemed nice enough to her and was even nice to Sehun

But it was hard for him because he had no one to talk too he was alone his mom always with her boyfriend sure he had a boyfriend of his own but he didn't find any comfort in him

He sighed

He looked back at the couple it hurt to see Baekhyun so close to Chanyeol he watched Baekhyun laugh he watched how Baekhyun intertwined his small hands with Chanyeol's

He regretted leaving, he regretted having to leave Baekhyun he wanted to be the one that the younger was close to he wanted Baekhyun to hug him

He wanted Baekhyun

"Yes Mom"

"Yes I know"

...

"I'll be home in a couple minutes"

Chanyeol sighed and hung up his phone he looked at Baekhyun who was eating some weird type of food that his boyfriend begged him to get

He plastered a smile on his face to make sure his boyfriend didn't worry about him

"I have to go Baekkie my mom wants me home" he looked down at their intertwined hands

Baekhyun who smiled and leaned his head against Chanyeols shoulder "Call me later?" Baekhyun asked as he looked up and held Chanyeol's gaze

Chanyeol couldn't help but smile as he kissed Baekhyun "Want me to walk you home first?"

"No it's okay" Baekhyun smiled as he kissed Chanyeol one more time "Sehun can drop me off, right?" He looked across the small table

Sehun stared at the couple envious of what they had

"Yeah sure"

Chanyeol seemed to notice "No it's fine I mean are you sure I can walk you home"

"It's okay channie your mom needs you" Baekhyun smiled

Chanyeol seemed hesitant to leave but he forced himself up anyway "Okay well I'll call you later, love"

Baekhyun blushed as he watched Chanyeol finally leave the cafe, he did love his boyfriend but he was just confused

"So you and Chanyeol" Sehun asked as he looked down at his fingers

"Yeah"

The atmosphere seemed to hold tension, it was just like the old days when they were close when they were happy together

"Baek.."

Baekhyun ignored the small weak voice it sounded as if Sehun was begging for his attention but Baekhyun looked out the window as every painful memory flooded back into his mind but still he missed those memories

"Baekkie"

"What" His voice sounded eerie and harsh but he didn't mean for it to come out that way

"Did you even miss me?"

Baekhyun played with the silverware he dragged the food that was still left over around the plate

Baekhyun pretended to look up in thought "uhm no I don't think I did" Baekhyun finally smiled as picked up a piece of food and threw it at Sehun

"No shit of course I missed you.."
