Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. (Ezekiel 1:1 KJV)

Note the first construction of the above scripture "Now it came to pass..." There are event in man life that didn't come to stay, they come to become an history as man journey through this life. Those event are what will become a story to inspire next generation.

Secondly, it says "..as I was among the captives.." life is not a bed of roses. At times, we becomes captive to situation that will got us on our kneels before the throne.

God is more interested in our attention than our showing forth of his goodness in this world.

Ezekiel was called to be a Prophet not until he became a captive by the rivers of Chebar.

No matter your challenges in life, God needs your attention because there's massage he want to communicate to the world through your challenges.

Thank God for Ezekiel captivity, probably we won't have been reading the Book of Ezekiel and the Prophecy of the End time.
