"Make Joan fall in love with you," he said, "that's your dare." I shifted in my seat, as I thought of what he just said, Joan, the girl whose head is kept down 24/7, the girl who doesn't talk to literally anyone.
"Dude, she talks to no ONE, how is the dare you gave me even possible?" I said wondering if he was still sane, silence drowned them for about 2 minutes, both sides thinking, "you gotta do what you gotta do to be worthy of being a highschool-popular-kid or just a man in fact" He said in a matter-of-factly way, looking straight in my light brown eyes, I wouldn't call that looking actually, he was glaring, his big blue eyes staring seriously at me, I could read what they said do it or you're out. I.cannot.lose.my.reputation.in.this.school after being picked on for about 2 years before we moved to Chicago, my aim was to be popular, the highschool jock, the boy girls like, and not make fun of.
I layed back on the comfy red sofa, staring up at the small lantern hung on a white ceiling, the lantern illuminating the TV that was the only entertainment. A pool table sat in front of the couch. I couldn't say no to Jack so I gathered enough guts to say "Okay, deal, what do I get though?" I asked him, he smiled and then said "let's say a thousand dollars if you can do it" My eyes widened in surprise, heck im gonna do this! "Deal" I said again, getting up and fixing my blue hoodie, I shaked his cold hand, looking at my phone, which was my alarm that it was time to go home "I gotta go dude"
"Make sure to do it" Which was the last thing I heard, as i got out of the door and into the atmosphere of fresh air, I walked into my black Suzuki and drove home. Getting round corners, and corners and corners and then there it was, the two-story house that was brown and lit up, it gave me comforting vibes. Opening the door, greeting my mom, walking upstairs got me thinking how I could really do this ,it was hard, see Joan really didnt talk ever, ever, ever not even in classes, as I noticed she was sad all the time, I think. I opened the door to my blue-walled room, as you've noticed blue is my favorite color, blue bed, blue desk with piled paper and books on top, and blue ceiling. I layed on my bed thinking "here we go Joan Roberts.".
