The silence in your room was pierced by the constant ringing of your alarm. Though the sound was beautiful it was still the most annoying thing in the morning. You groaned as you threw your phone across the room but your phone too was persistant and wouldn't stop ringing. You opened your eyes hesitantly in an annoyed mood and saw the clock on the wall strike 6:30 a.m. for a second you stared at it as your brain refused to function normally but then almost like a truck, it hit you.

Today was the marriage.

You and Jungkook had been friends since the young age of 8 basically two little fetus at the time and it's almost shocking how long you had known eachother and how far you had come today. He was the most important person in your life and you were the most treasured gift from god in his life. He was the person with whom you had spent most of your life with, through happiness and sadness. and today, you couldn't be more happier.

As time went by and you grew up watching eachother grow, you fell in love with this amazing angel. He was the only guy who had permission to touch you. He was the shoulder you cried on when you were sad, The comfort of a hug given when you felt like a failure, and the kisses on the forehead he gave to show you how much he cared for you, and also cheeks when he wanted to cheer you up. He was the only guy you had ever let in your life and even today you couldn't believe that this day had come. Oh! Only the lord knew how much you loved him and he loved you.

You put on your beautiful white gown and got ready for the wedding. Your parents walked inside the dressing room and looked at you with tears in their eyes yet holding up a proud face. "I can't believe this." Your dad spoke as he hugged you, "my little girl is all grown up now." He sobbed on your shoulder and even you, for a moment, felt like tearing up but today was a happy occassion which shouldn't be ruined by these stupid tears. "I love you honey." Your mother spoke as she joined in on the hug and all you could say was, "I love you too guys. I wish i didn't have to leave you guys." your little family was hurdled up together in this emotional hug and as all of you teared apart you could see how tears had already welled up in everyone's eyes. "Let's go dad." You spoke and he joined you as you headed towards the wedding hall. "Wow! You look as beautiful as always.", were the first words Jungkook said as he saw you and he was smiling like the happiest man on earth right now.

"I do."

"I do."

The vows were taken without hesitation and everybody cheered.

"Congrats kookie~" you said as he walked towards you. "Y/n....", he frowned and looked at you with that same deep gaze that he held when he had told you the wedding news almost three weeks ago. "You should be happy." You faked a smile and cheered him on. "Why do you have to leave?" He asked with brimming tears in his eyes. You wanted to tell him why. You wanted to tell him it was because of him, that you couldn't handle seeing him living a happily married life with another women, the women who would take your place, who would steal away his happiness from you. But at the moment all you said was, "I have too. It's my dream job." With a tight smile you hugged him. The last embrace he could provide you with. Your greed to feel his warmth one last time. "I love you and i'll miss you Jeon Jungkook." You whispered loud enough for him to hear. "I love you too, y/n..." he replied back as he pulled you closer, "I promise i'll never replace you. You'll always have a place in my heart." "You better not" you spoke and both of you chuckled and said your last goodbyes, only it wasn't good rather it was a terribly painful feeling.

Later the day, you boarded the plane from South korea to London to pursue your dream and bid the country your final farewell never to return again.
