I walked over and lightly tugged on the blanket. She reluctantly dropped it from her face and I caressed her cheek. "I'll be back... safely." I kissed her but, she didn't respond back. I frowned, not going to pry about it... she's angry with me but, she didn't go back under the blanket until I left.

I parked behind Kimora's parents and I glanced at her house, knowing that I'd restrain myself from punching Adam in his face and ask questions later. I needed answers and I was tired of being left in the dark of what the hell happened. Matthew raised an eyebrow at me. "You straight?"

I realized I was clenching the steering wheel and I relaxed my fists. "I think I might punch him in the face if he says something I don't like."

"Be my guest."

We both headed inside, following after Shantel and Marcus. I smiled seeing Alex already excited to see me, his tail wagging a mile per second as he jumped at my leg. He got bigger since we first got him. He was almost up to my waist. I decided to pet him instead of picking him up. "You're going to come and help me cheer Mommy up because she's really upset," I said in a baby voice.

Matthew laughed. "Do you really have to do it in a baby voice?"

"Ignore Uncle Matthew. He's a buzz kill." I cooed and Matthew rolled his eyes but, he was still laughing.

Adam rounded the corner and he seemed slightly surprised to see me and rolled his eyes."Oh. It's you."

"I got a question." I shoved my hands in my pockets to avoid myself from doing anything rash...

Amusement glinted in his eyes. "What is it?"

"What happened to Kimora? She's not being herself and you're the only one I saw who was last with her when she started acting that way."

A lightbulb seemed to go off in his head and he raised an eyebrow. "So she's been with you... I've been worried about her and why she hasn't come back."

"I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to come back because of you."

He looked offended. "I didn't do anything."

"I never said you did anything." My suspicions spiked even more as I caught him in a corner. I took a few steps closer, invading his space. "What did you do to Kimora?"

A smirk crept onto his face and I was about to punch him in his face until Shantel came out of nowhere, standing between us. "There will be no fighting in this house. Jaxon, come with me."

She walked into the kitchen and I glared at Adam one last time before following her. She handed me a plastic bag and I looked inside. "It's food. For both of you."

"Thank you, Shantel."

She nodded. "You both look so tired. Are you two not getting sleep?"

I sighed. "No. I'm just always up to keep an eye on her."

She rubbed her temples. "I'm going to go insane not knowing what's wrong with my baby. Just go and check up on her. I'll come over occasionally."
