"thank u mom" i said. "i can't believe my baby is all grown up" she said getting teary. "mom" i said walking over to her and hugging her. "let's go everyone is waiting for you" she said I nodded and we headed downstair. As i was on last stair i could feel all the eyes on me. I smile and walk over to my bestfriend laila and hug her. "happy birthday my one and only best friend forever" she said pinching my cheek. I talk to everyone for a while when i saw my mom's friend and my best friend's mom Anne. I grinned at her and walk to her and hug her tightly. "happt birthday my sweet angel" she said. "thank u" i said. I look around to see if geema or harry were with her and no one was there. I felt hurt bcz harry and i were bestfriends but from the past few months he had been so distant. He did not even celebrate christmas with me. Which we celebrated togather since childhood. He did not even sent a single text. I had not hear from him since november. When he came to spent time here and i ask him to come over my house. He behaved so strange that day and when he left he never replied to my any text or calls. And today he did not came even on my birthday. As i was thinking my eyes fell on a figure Niall. We became friends bcz of harry. He walk over to me and hug me. "happy birthday pretty girl" he said in a flirting way. I laugh at him and thank him. "thank u so much for coming" i said. "aww how could i miss my beautiful y/n's birthday" he cooed. I giggle as he put a hand on my back We walk over to our friends we chatted for a while. When niall pointed to someone i look where he had pointed and i saw the one person for whom had lost all hope but there he was standing. I smile but my smile flattered when i saw a girl's hand on his arm. She was a tall girl. She was looking beautiful. She was wearing a white short dress and her hairs were in a bun.

Harry's eyes fell on me but i hurrily move my eyes towards my friends. I pretend that i had not seen him. From the cornor of my eye i could see him coming towards me. But thank god just as he was about to approach me. Laila appraoch me but she was not alone with her was Alex. Alex was our neighbour he had mobed here a month ago. We had became good friends. I looked at Alex and grinned. Harry and Alex both came forward to hug me and i hug Alex first completely ignoring Harry. How could he expect me to hug him like nothing happened. "happy birthday babe" he said kissing my cheek i blush. "thank u but you know all the guests have arrived already and i had expected you to come before them" i said pouting. "aww our birthday girl is pouting" he said kissing my bith cheeks. Harry coughed to get my attention. I looked at him like i had not seen him. "oh hey!! harry, i am so sorry i did not see you" i said putting my best fake smile on and with fake excitement causing Alex to burst out laughing. I elbowed him to stop which he did but his face was bright red because he was trying his hard to control his laughter. "yeah Actually you was busy with your friends"he said. " yeah sorry"i said. "happy birthday" he said looking sad. My heart hurt to see his eyes sad but i hurrily cover it with a smile. "thank u who is this pretty girl" i said looking at the girl beside him. "oh this is my girlfriend maria, Maria this is y/n my be-" i cut him off before he could complete his sentence. "i am harry's mom's bestfriends daughter" i said. "oh nice to meet you" she said extending her hand and i shook it smiling tightly. "come on lets cut the cake so we can open all the presents" laila and alex cooed at me. I went with them to cut the cake. After i cut the cake and everybody gave me their presents. We all had dinner after dinner people began to left. At about 8 only niall,Alex,laila And harry his girlfriend and his mom were here. "i think we should go home its pretty late" anne said. I look at Harry and he was already looking at me. "yeah we should go" harry said. "yeah i am tired baby" maria said resting her head on his shoulder. Harry did not move his eyes from me.he was just staring at me. I began to feel uncomfortable under his stare. Anne hugged me and said bye maria just said bye and harry he walked over to me and hug me. I did not hug him back but than i heard his weak voice whispering a low plzz to hug him back i put my hands on his back. He nuzzled his face in my neck. "i missed you" he said and pulled away and his eyes showed an emotion which i could not understand but i realize something was going on with him. After harry and Anne left niall also left..
So now it was only me laila and Alex. I change in a pair sweat pants and one of an old sweater of harry. I had not wear it in a while but today after seeing him i began to miss him even more.
I came dowmstair and open my presents with laila and alex. We sat there in the living room talking. It was past 12 when alex left and laila stayed the night. We said good night and she headed to guest room and i went into my room. I brush my teeth and lay down. After about 15 minutes i felt someone's presence behind me. I sat up quickly to see who was there. And there he was sitting on my bed looking at me sadly. "harry" i said about to stand up from bed but he move forward and hug me tightly i try to pull away but his grip was too tight i stop moving when i felt his tears on my neck. "harry" i whisper putting my hand on his back just when my other hand made contact with his scalp he broke down completely he began to sob hiding his face in my neck. "harry calm down" i said rubbing his back and running a hand in his soft curls. I move back a lil si that my back rested on headboard. He was a sobbing mess my all tries to calm him down failed. My heart aches to see him like this but it confirms that something was going on with him. "y/n plzz" he said between sobs. "harry plz calm down ok you are alright" i said pulling him impossibly closer to me. After about half an hour harry calm down his head lays on my chest he was still sniffling lightly. I look at him and he was staring blankly in space. I run my fingers through his hair lightly and press akiss on his head. I wanted to ask him what was wrong with him but i did not bcz of what had just happpen i did not wanted him to cry again. So i just laid down and get on my side so he lays beside me. He snuggle closer to me his face nuzzled in my neck and legs tangled with mine. "plzz help me get out of this mess" he mumbled. My brows furrowed what was he talking about. When i was about to ask him what was he talking about i heard his light snores. I sighed and put my hand on his back and press a kiss on his forehead. I will ask him in the morning. But i knew harry was in some deep shit.
