"Not again."
After you know, Johnny leaving me again. I tried to get on with my life. I was gonna be damned if he was going to get under my skin again. I tried to move on, that was pretty successful. During sophomore year, I did great in my classes, I still partied a lot obviously, but I had no distractions. That was at least until junior year. One of the best college years of my life if we're being honest. My dad finally let me work at the company, and I was ready to take over as soon as he retired from it, which he made abundantly clear wasn't going to happen for a while, so I had to work my way to the top. Other than work and school, I made a lot of knew friends. And I started dating this guy named Adam. He was really sweet, I liked him a lot, but of course, I had a tendency to always pick the wrong guys, he was only interested in me to sleep with him, but when he found out I didn't want to go fast, he dumped my ass. Some guys just lose interest, After Johnny, when I was with Adrian, I... well I did sleep with him, but after that he went all control freak on my ass. Sometimes, you never know with guys.
So in the second semester, (now) I'm seeing a guy named Chase. I know save it, It sounds like I'm a player, but the only thing player related is that I keep attracting those kinds and haven't dated a guy who could treat me right. But you guessed it, Lauren and Hayden are still an item. They're really happy together, and I'm happy for them.
*Incoming facetime
K: Hey dad.
L: Hey sweetie.
M: How's my college girl?
K: Great, I can't believe I'm almost done with junior year, everything is going by so fast and I'm doing great.
M: Well that's good to hear.
K: How come you called?
L: Did you check your mail?
K: Yeah I have it right here, already RSVP.
L: Good

K: So when is this party thing anyway?
L: Next year.
K: Next year? Wow, do you think I'll have enough time to get ready?
L: Stop being a smartass, it's so far ahead because it is the biggest party in the world to take place once every 5 years, and you're going.
K: Okay sounds good. Why is it so big?
L: It is the business world, the biggest company leaders, CEO's, managers, everyone who's anyone is going to be there.
K: Alright, well thanks, I'm going to have to say bye, I've got to get to school.
M: Bye.

I worked my way through school great, I wasn't lying when I said I was doing great, all my classes, were A+'s so I was super proud of that. As I flipped through the rest of the mail, I saw another letter Johnny had sent, it was his third one since he left.

I ignored it, tried to move on, wasn't too successful, until I met Chase, granted, I wasn't in love with him or anything, but he was like a distraction, one that I liked. I stopped thinking about him, he came up once or twice every few months or so in my thoughts. Until the name 'Johnny Orlando', meant nothing to me.
Christmas was approaching, that big party my dad told me about was to. I got another letter from him, but it was the last one he sent.

He sent it on christmas, not sure what happened after, but he didn't write again.
It was near the end of summer, and I was moving forward to my last year of college. My dad made me the CEO of the company, highest rank other than him of course. I was working my ass off. And as soon as I got out of college, I was ready to buy a house and start a life. But I still had to make it through senior year.
