This is actually my first time writing a BTS AU and English isn't my home language, so if there are any mistakes feel free to tell me. Hope you guys like it:)).
Would you believe me if I told you I've never been on another country that's not my own? Nor another whole fuckin continent. And well what happened to me? I don't think it was a coincidence, not at all.
3 years earlier
I had just finished college and my biggest dream was to travel to a specific place, South Korea. I've always loved their culture, their people's good manners, their food, and well of course the k dramas.
I've been saving almost my whole career just so I could afford living there for half a year, and I was so ready to get to my dream country. I went to the airport and said goodbye to my family, got on the plane and finally arrived at Seoul.
Everything was beautiful just how I picture it'd be, no wait, it was a whole lot better.
I had contacted someone before, so I had somewhere to live; when I arrived at the apartment, I met the person who's renting me the place and he welcomed me as well.
It was a man in his early 40's, but looked older because of his grey hair, not too tall he's maybe 5'8, but he kept staring at me as if he was hungry, which felt too sick cause I'm half his age.
After I settled down, I went to explore the city, I was starving so I stopped by to a coffee shop.
As I was ordering a latté, I turned around and within a matter of seconds my blouse had been messed up because of someone who ran into me.
I started screaming cause the coffee that had been spilled out was too hot.
I was so focused on my anger that I didn't even looked up to the person who tripped over me.
As I slowly looked up to see him, he immediately said
"Omg I am so sorry, I'll go buy you another blouse, I'm truly sorry."
Oh God he's too handsome, first day on Seoul and I ran into a guy like this? Isn't this my lucky day?
"Don't worry, it was not that hot" But it was fucking hot.
"Let me buy you another blouse or else I'll feel bad" and then he gave me an innocent smile, which I gladly responded to him "okay then but I don't know where you could buy me one".
"Don't worry I know where to go", he opened the door for me and as I was walking, I was secretly admiring him.
He was really tall like 6 ft, he also had this beautiful skin, something I had to expect since he's Korean, he had this beautiful smile which I noticed right away, and just so I could fill the awkward silence I said.
"So, can I know the name of the guy who ruined my blouse?" He gave me a worry look and apologize again and then said his name.
"I'm Seokjin, but you can just call me Jin". He stared at me and then said, "I'm guessing you're new in the city, what's your name?"
"I'm Y/N, and yeah it is actually my first day here". We both stopped as we had arrived at the destination.
"Oh God I feel worse now that I welcomed you like this on your first day".
God, I love Korean men, they are so polite.
"Well you're making it up, aren't you?". "I guess I am" and he gave me a genuine smile.
He told me to choose any blouse and when I finally chose one, he bought it for me.
As we were walking outside, he stopped me and said, "I'm actually throwing a party right now with some of my friends, would you like to come?" At first, I wanted to say no because I didn't even know him, I mean what if he's a serial killer or idk. But then I started to remember the reason why I came to Seoul in the first place, to make some memories, and well what could be better than starting with a welcome party.
