(This scenario is based on a headcanon I saw on tumblr a while back. And it's kinda bad(Like BeckyMerari1808 kinda bad). I'm sorry..)
What if Jack went to Santa Fe?
Let me set the scene.
It's after the strike.
Jack(somehow)gets the money to go to Santa Fe. However, he doesn't have enough to take any of his fellow newsies(+Katherine) with him. He becomes conflicted on what to do(stay or go), but eventually gives in to the Santa Fe pressure. This makes him leave his fellow newsies(+Katherine) behind, which the newsies(+Katherine) aren't too happy on.
Weeks pass. The newsies now have a new leader who Isn't so great. On top of that, the newsies are getting beat up more than usual and are becoming slightly weaker than before since Jack went to Santa Fe.
What will happen next to these Manhattan newsies?
