LATE

You shuffled uncomfortably on the couch, groaning as you threw the remote control on the coffee table. You laid on the lounge with your own empty mind lingering with such tedious. You just turned off the television due to the channels not giving you the proper and exact shows you wanted and it is still Friday and your favoured TV show is yet to appear. The apartment is too quite to your beliefs and you are too eager to wait anymore long to your fiancé in yet another hour. Dinner had already been served and cooked by you but since it had been quite an hour ago for his arrival, you started to eat yourself alone.

Well, it is your own fault why you are left out. Not that you two had quite a fight but when he suggested for you to come along; to which you declined. He actually went.

He'd gone home to his father for awhile and greet his siblings in these past few days because he said it had been too long since he saw them and...missed them. You are proud of him that he doesn't really hate them, he just need an independent from the situation from them. Especially his father, you thought he had forgave him and gone into a better conclusions for the both of them.

But what had caused you to stay behind?

It is because of his father didn't have a good impression to you at first. When Shouto opened arms to you and said his deepest secrets, you have viewed Enji as a bad person, so you avoid him at all times needed. Sure, his father didn't had business to go to you but you kinda got yourself awkward when you met him. The egoistical father and also a no. 2 top here.

Sho's mother is different. when you had visited her she had already got a liking to you and yet you were so fond that Shouto inherited his mom's kindness, sense of humour and serene. She is like a female version of Shouto so you warmed up to her the minute you saw her. She's even the one who gave you the blessings and agreed for you to marry him. She even asked you for hundreds of babies with Shouto. You laughed at that thought in mind, yet pink and red dusted your cheeks. You already knew you are going to marry Shouto very much sooner.

Still, you stayed behind because you didn't like the suspicious glare his father gives you, as if you're a villain.

And it had been 2 days since he left, you already missed him. A lot. You missed those uneven locks of him and his heterochromic eyes of gray and blue. His eyebrows and soft gelatin cheeks you either kiss or pinch so much. So, when he comes home; you'd shower him affections. Because that's what calms him and so does to you.

Sho's freedom was given to him later than he'd expected. He took up so much of his time that he forgot he had his girl waiting alone for him. Thinking you must've bored out of your mind.

Yanking the apartment door forward, he called out, "(Y/N). I'm home!"

But no answers though. Looking adjacently confused, it wasn't as late in the evening now. He looked up towards the old grandfather clock pinned into the wall the time reading it was 10 PM. Oh.

There was a soft muttering and lights flickered from the living room, so he darted his way there. His eyes looked into the television still on and a movie playing. He looked into the couch where there laid a peaceful looking (Y/N) in a deep slumber, her mouth agape for the slightest, a blanket hovering over her small body and a remote control sat on her lap, the coverings slightly crooked from her shifting, as she fell asleep sitting up.

The man who is looking over her, sighed and shook his head, chuckling for quite awhile. He turned his heels to you and turned off the television after snatching it from your lap. He watched even a few more moments enjoying your sereneness affecting him. He had to admit you looked adorable and vulnerable this way.

After he had wrapped you like a burrito, he wasted no time to scoop you up in his arms carrying you like he would do after your marriage, caressing you like you're a fragile porcelain doll.

After he had gently put you down on the stratum of your bed, the soft pillow hitting the back of your head as the warmth attacked you. And as if on cue that Shouto is gonna leave you for you to be able to sleep, you shifted yourself awake, eyelids opening to be met by those uneven ones. He smiled down to you as you called out his name, "Shou?"

           "Hmm?" was all he responded.

"You're back!" you exclaimed as you sat right up abruptly pulling him into a hug as he reached over to your bed. He wasted no time to hug you back and he let out a hoarse chuckle. "I missed you."

           "Me too."
