I sighed knowing this is probably going to be a disaster, I decided I wanted to tell Kentrell about me going away to college tonight since he told me was staying at mines for the weekend. I honestly just wanted to get it over with. I get out of my car getting the stuff I brought from work.
"Kentrell!" I yelled walking into my apartment, I noticed the lights were off downstairs, only light I could see if my room light peaking from under the door. I put the food I got from work on the table walking up the stairs, making sure not to make a noise from the squeaky wood floors.
"Watchu doing?" I bust into my room seeing Kentrell Jump hard as hell almost dropping the towel around his waist. I bust out laughing at his face since he squared up.
"Don't be doing that shit Tay." He grumbled turning around to put his boxer briefs on, I laughed harder clutching my chest.
"It's not fucking funny." Kentrell smirks, I roll my eyes walking up to him. I peck his lips before flopping down on the bed.
"How was work baby." He sighs putting a pair of sweats on, no shirt. I shrug saying nothing new, I move over so he can lay down. I put my head on his chest closing my eyes when I felt him rub my back.
"Kentrell." I say catching his attention, he hums meaning he was paying attention. I look up seeing his eyes closed, i sit up sitting criss cross.
"I got accepted to Georgia State University, and I start in three weeks." I say watching him open his eyes, he stares at me before busting out laughing
"Stop playing slime." He sucks His teeth grabbing my wrist trying to pull me towards him.
"I don't see what's funny, but okay." I mumbled to myself
"Kentrell I'm not lying, I really am going away. I already did my university tour and everything." I say, he sucks his teeth mumbling under his breath.
"You really moving a hour or something away." He raises his eyebrow, I nod my head smiling.
"You know it's always been a dream of mine to one day own a daycare or become a kindergarten teacher, You know I love kids, I even love Draco lil bad ass." I say laughing
"Man, I don't want you to go! And why the hell you wait so damn long to tell me." He starts to yell, I calm myself cause I really didn't fell like getting into a screaming match with him.
"Kentrell I told you, I'm not tryna stay in the hood any longer than I have too. You knew I been taking college classes since last year at the community college so I could be able to transfer to Georgia State." I say trying to reason with him.
"I don't give a fuck about what you told me,I just figured you gave up on that university shit. That's all you been fucking talk about since you graduated from high school." He spats
"Oh well Kentrell, I don't wanna be here anymore. I'm tired of living in the projects, is it so bad that I wanna do better for myself?" I asked him, he shakes his head.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have snapped at you. I'll support yo dream i guess." He pouts, I roll my eyes at his baby ass.
"All I know is no nigga better be in yo sight while you away." He cuts his eyes at me laying back down on the bed
"Keep that same energy and keep them bitches away from you." I shot back laughing
"I'm not playing, if I see a nigga I don't know talking to you. Imma kill you and his bitch ass."He spats, i roll my eyes knowing he ain't gonna do shit
