Chapter 10 : Confrontations

The girls were astonished and surprised to see Taehyung as their MC for tonight. Tzuyu blushed as she made eye contact with him. He couldn't help but wink at her.

Jeongyeon on the other hand, got nervous upon his sudden arrival.

Seeing him always seemed to set her off against Tzuyu. However, this time, she did her best to suppress any anger she had. She did, however, notice that he gave her a questionable look. Weird, but she didn't think much of it.

The group of 10 began to chat for a moment while rehearsing their scripts. Taehyung made a few jokes to brighten up the mood a little bit, sensing the tension they felt as they were moments away from their very first live stage as an official idol group.

Other than Jeongyeon, the girls didn't think much of his quirkiness. They were significantly more comfortable with him compared to the rest of BTS. Even though the groups had mutually decided to look past the events that took place in high school, they felt more at ease talking to Tae as none of them knew he was part of the incident with the exception of Jeongyeon.

To prevent herself from getting mad at their maknae, Jeongyeon chose to distance herself instead. While she laughed along with what they said, especially at Tae's jokes, she felt that if she didn't talk as much, then she wouldn't let her anger burst out into Tzuyu.

"AHAHAHAHA! You're so funny Tae Oppa!" said Sana while smacking his chest.

Tae slightly rubbed the back of his neck.

"T..t...thanks Sana..." he whimpered nervously.

Jeongyeon caught a glance of Tzuyu glaring at Sana. She could tell she wanted to say something but was allowed to at the same time. She couldn't help but giggle slightly while watching their maknae get jealous over a guy.

She knew she had feelings for Taehyung.

It was undeniable after observing how she acted towards him at the JYP invitational banquet. Nothing really got past Jeongyeon when it came to her members. She saw the way Tzuyu looked into Tae's eyes. Her eyes glistened with interest whenever he spoke and she laughed the loudest she's ever seen her laugh whenever he made a joke.

While she was still a tad bit upset about having to bear the burden of Taehyung's identity, she thought that maybe she shouldn't get in their way.

The two seemed to get along with each other very well.

"Well... what's the worst that could happen?" Jeongyeon thought.

She knew that one day, Taehyung would have to tell Tzuyu his big secret. She wasn't sure when, but she knew it had to happen. However, she shrugged it off and figured that it didn't have to be something she had to worry about now.

"Alright everyone, get in your positions! The camera's are rolling in 10 seconds!" a staff member said.

They all got into their spots as Taehyung stood to their side, directly next to Jihyo while under Tzuyu at the same time.

"3,2,1... action!"

"Annyeonghaseyo! Bangtan Sonyeondan Kim Taehyung imnida! I will be the MC for today's special edition of Mnet Countdown Live! Today we have a very special group that will be performing their debut single "Like Ooh-Ahh" off of their debut album 'The Story Begins.' Please, help me give a big round of applause as we welcome JYP's newest girl group, TWICE!"

The camera panned towards TWICE as Jihyo began their introduction.

"Hana, dul, set!"

"One in a Million, annyeonghaseyo, TWICE imnida!" they all greeted.
