Victoria scanned her passkey and held her thumb up to the fingerprint sensor, then entered the 4 digit passcode into the advanced security  system that preceded your entry into her employers 380,000 sqft mansion. She could hear faint sounds of yelling coming from the room closest to her and sighed.

She sensed a pair of eyes on her and spun around quickly, breathing in relief when she saw Dago, the family cat, purring on a shelf.

"Guess it can't just be a normal day at the Greys, huh? Always gotta be some drama," she said, winking at the cat.

Mr and Mrs Grey were one of, if not the richest families in the world. Their official professions were buying and selling real estate, but although they would deny the fact, and have the legal documents to prove it, they were known to have ties to the russian and italian mafia, and a considerable share of products in the black market. Recently, however, they had decided that owning real estate all over the world, 4 yachts and an island wasn't enough - they had to build one of the most expensive houses built in the history of... well, ever.

Sometimes though, Victoria wished they would have taken as much time raising their offspring as they spent raising their fortune. She entered the first lounge and was confronted by Melissa.

"Of course it was Melissa."

One half of the Grey twins, Melissa was 17, the same age as Victoria herself, but they barely knew each other, probably due to the fact that while Melissa went to one of the most prestigious schools in the country, while she went to a second teir high school that she could only afford through scholarship. Melissa would occasionally pay Victoria to tutor her in subjects she wasn't so great at (which was basically all of them), so they had an understanding. Of sorts.

She also had the ability to throw temper tantrums that could put a toddler to shame.

"SOMEONE, ON THIS GODFORSAKEN PLANET HAS STOLEN MY HAIRBRUSH."

She glared accusingly at Victoria, then stopped in the middle of the floor. Victoria silently pointed toward an upturned couch, which had an ivory brush with pink diamonds inset in the handle barely visible from under a silken shawl Melissa had carelessly thrown there earlier.

The othe girl harrumphed, scooping up the shawl and hairbrush, and waltzed out of the room.

"I don't know what I would do without you, sweetie!" She threw over her shoulder as she left.

"Probably get an anuerysm after breaking a nail!" Victoria replied chirpily, then quickly checked to see if she was out of earshot.

Victoria had to admit to herself that Melissa had a certain spunk about her, and in different circumstances the two of them couldve been good friends. Even though she got hysterical at times, she had never taken it out on an employee. Probably because anybody with half a brain would stay well away from her, but still.

She continued tidying the lounge, gathering shards of a broken Chrstofle vase into a torn cashmere coat, then dumping it into the bin near the door.

"Is she gone?"

Victoria looked down at the source of the query, a beautiful grey eyed girl. Alice was the most human of the Grey family, and contrasting to her sisters vivacious blonde curls and busty curves, Alice had the grey, straight hair of her father, which had probably been their familys namesake all those years ago. Alice was also extremely smart for a child of seven, and the reason Victoria was there. She had asperges, which branched off of her high functioning autism, which, in turn, made her consume knowledge like a machine. She had finished primary school 2 days before her sixth birthday, and disliked school, so her parents had agreed to tutoring. Even in this, Alice had taken charge, and employed her own teachers. For the classical studies she recruited masters, of course. One could not learn Latin and Music from mere high school teachers. She had wanted to gather more college and university kids for teching her broader subjects, like AP maths and english, but her parents had only consceded if she had a trial period with one High School student.
