"Ok, are you ready?" I asked Taehyung while my eyes were fixed at the computer screen. "This is the tenth time you have asked me that." Taehyung shrugged. "How are you so cool, man? My heart is playing ping pong inside my chest right now." I said while trying to control my nervous breath.
It was the day of our result. The day when we will find out if we will into Shine High or not. A place which will turn our dreams into reality. I always dreamed to become a famous singer and dancer as it never failed me to give a feeling of serenity. I and Taehyung worked hard to pass the entrance and I couldn't bear to see failure. I hate failures, I like to play high as I give my best in everything.
"Just click the mouse already, Kookie," Taehyung whined. I closed my eyes and instantly clicked the right button of the mouse. I kept my eyes closed as I was too afraid to check the outcomes. I just waited for Taehyung's reaction but the room was filled with silence. I could hear the sound of my heartbeat which was getting faster every second as I didn't understand how to react. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Taehyung lying on the floor spreading his arms and legs wide open.
"What are you doing on the floor? Did we pass? Did we made it?" I waited for his reply as he laid down motionless. After a few minutes, he took a deep breath and screamed so loud that it felt like an earthquake. "WE MADE IT!" he literally started dancing on the floor as my eyes popped out of the socket and I jumped over Taehyung and pulled him into a hug and we both laid down on the floor screaming and shouting as tears filled our eyes.
"Aigo, what's happening here?" my brother Jin opened the door with a thud. "Ahhhhhhh" I stood up in joy and ran towards Jin hyung while heaving a loud scream which almost scared him. I jumped over him and hugged him with all my body force and we both ended up flat on the floor. "You are choking me punk." Jin hyung muffled from under my chest.
"Ah, sorry hyung." I tried to get up when suddenly Taehyung came and jumped upon us pressing hyung with more weight. "Y-you i-i-idioooots" Jin pushed us with all his force and we jumped into different directions and ended up laughing even harder. It was the best day of our life, I wanted to capture it and lock it inside a box with a big key.
"You made it?" Jin asked softly. "Yes, we made it," I said with excitement. "Uh," That was his reply. Jin hyung never wanted me to go far away from home. He knew that it was my dream so he supported me with everything. He even accompanied us to the audition and entrance exams which turned out so well for him. The staff loved hyung's visuals and charisma.
Jin hyung was quite famous as he worked in few dramas miraculously until the dark tragedy happened and changed his whole life. They gave him the joining letter on the spot but hyung refused to accept it. I was jealous and angry about how he rejected the offer which I was dying to receive. No doubt I was equally happy for my hyung as it could help him in moving away from his pain. "He will take it," I said and snatched the paper in Jin's place. I told him to think about it and make a decision later as it was once in a lifetime opportunity.
"I am happy for you." Jin forced a smile on his face. "It's party time." Taehyung loud voice fills the room. "What do you want to eat?" I asked. "Let's call Panda Express." Taehyung eyes sparkled with happiness. I was happy to see Taehyung smiling and happy like this. On the other hand, I felt sad when I tilted my head to see Jin hyung who was lost in his deep thoughts.

Five days had passed since we got accepted in Shine High. I and Taehyung did a lot of shopping as we planned. We already made a list of things we would buy if we get accepted in our dream academy. I was busy packing my stuff for five days but it still felt like I left out something. I kept checking my things again and again in curiosity.
I was so excited as tomorrow I will leave for Sine High. But when I used to see my parents and brother it ached my heart. I was so close to my brother and I wanted to get closer after that dark day when he lost the love of his life. It broke him from inside and I never saw that bright smile on his face again. I wanted to make him smile but I knew I can't force him to.
I was afraid to leave him, I requested him to join Shine High with me and Taehyung but he ignored it. Will I fail as a brother if I leave my hyung in his dark days? I questioned myself again and again but I never got an exact answer. As for me, there will be my best friend Taehyung by my side but Jin would be all alone.
I will miss you hyung.
Several thoughts came in my mind as I hugged my pillow closer to my chest. The thought of sacrificing my a thing which I was leaving behind but it was my family. I was leaving my family behind and they surely won't fit in my bag.
