"Good morning" David said, walking into his kitchen.

"Good morning" Bella smiled, looking up from the paper on the counter she was reading. David smiled back.

"How'd you sleep?" Bella asked, standing up and following David around the kitchen as got his breakfast ready.

"Not terribly" He took a bowl out of the cabinet, closing it and opening another, grabbing a box of cereal and pouring it into the bowl. "For once"

Bella sat on the counter next to the fridge as he opened it and grabbed milk.

"I always sleep better when you're with me" David said, looking at Bella.

She smiled sadly.

"You know-"

"Yeah, I know" He said, putting the gallon of milk back in the fridge.

"Good morning" Natalie said, entering the kitchen.

"Good morning" David said back.

"How are you?" She asked, firmly, but not wanting to pry.

David nodded.

"Not awful" He said.

"Glad to hear it" Natalie said, toasting a bagel. "You made a therapy appointment, right?"

David looked back at Bella, who nodded.

"Yes"

"Good" Natalie said. "Seriously David, that will be good for you"

"I hope so" David gave Natalie a tight-lipped smile.

Natalie and David were quiet for a while.

"I'm gonna run to target" David finally broke the silence.

"Yeah?" Natalie asked, perking up a little.

"Yeah"

David grabbed his keys and went to his car, turning it on and pulling out of the driveway.

"So we're going to target, huh?" Bella asked.

"JESUS" David yelped, putting his hand on his chest. "I didn't realize you were coming"

"You were pretty up in your thoughts"

"I guess I was" David mumbled.

He turned on the radio and drove the 15 minutes to target, getting out and walking towards the store.

"What do we need?" Bella asked.

"Some more body wash"

Bella nodded.

"Surprised you didn't send Natalie to do this"

David shrugged. "I needed to get out of the house" He mumbled.

David walked down the soap aisle with his head down, nearly running directly into someone.

"I'm sorry-" David started.

"I know you" The girl said.

She was relatively tall, with shoulder length wavy brown hair and dark brown eyes. David smiled a little, figuring she was probably a fan.

"Youtube? Vine?" David asked.

The girl nodded.

"That's it. You're friends with Kian and JC, right?"

David nodded.

"We met at a party. My best friend is dating JC"

David's eyes widened as he remembered.

"Oh my god, right, fuck you're..." David snapped his fingers.

"Elise"

"Elise, right"

"And you're.... Dan?"

"David"

"David, sorry, nice to meet you again" Elise laughed, reaching her hand out.

David took it.

"Pleasure" He said.

"Are you going to Kian and JC's party this weekend?" Elise asked.

David wasn't planning on it, but he had been invited.

"I might" He smiled a little.

"Cool, well maybe i'll see you there" Elise smiled, turning to leave.

"Yeah, for sure, see you"

David watched Elise walk away.

"She's cute" Bella commented from his right.

"She's no you" David said.

"But we're not together anymore"

"Well, then maybe you should stop following me around"

"Stop inviting me"

"I'm not inviting you"

"But you are"

"I'm not"

"You are. Say the words and i'm gone"

David sighed.

"Let's go check out"

I couldn't stay away for too long hahahah, I don't know where this one will end up and updates will probably be slow, but if I force myself to make it public then I will have to write more.... right?
