"WHAT" they all yelled in unison causing me to burst out into laughter

"I'm kidding, of course I like him back" I said with a small giggle "however here's the tea, he's low-key angry I'm here and salty because of the amount of boys here"

"Boo hoo, tell him he can cry me a river... Now come on, ITS PARTY TIME BITCHESSS" Emma yelled running back out towards the room

3 hours later.
12:46 AM

We were all hanging around Jillian's living room still. We ordered pizza and we're having a movie night all together. Jack and Jillian laid on the love seat together, Joe, Ellie, and Emma all sat on the couch together. Cash, Mav, and Reed all laid on the floor, and Jason and I laid on the recliner together.

Our group of friends have always been tight,  we all together formed our friend group in the 7th grade. Except I've been friends with a few of them long before we all formed together.
I had my head on Jason's chest as we watched the movie. And before you assume, no we don't like each other like that. We had a very platonically lovely Friendship. We play wing man and wing woman for eachtoher, he was a real sweetheart but we just weren't eachtoher type

All of a sudden my phone started ringing, it was a FaceTime request from Zach

"I'll be right back" I said, standing up and walking over to Jillian's door to stand outside "Hey Zach" I said answering the phone with a smile

"Oh my god hey best friend" He said with slurred speech. I rolled my eyes
He was drunk.

"Do you need anything? We're trying to watch a movie" I said with a yawn

"Yeah I nee- whoa bro, check this out" he said, stopping midsentance to flip the camera around. The phone slowly connected to see a boy and a girl making out in my room

"Yo what the fuck tell them to get out, I have to sleep in there ya know" I said

"Sorry sorry... Jonah out!" He yelled. My eyes widened. There turned around Jonah and some girl as the making out couple. Tears formed in my eyes. Not sad tears but angry tears.

I hung up almost immediately and shoved my phone into my pocket as I stomped inside.

"Jason can you come with me real quick" I croaked out. He glanced up, worry finding it's way to his eyes as he saw me. He quickly noded and stood up "I'll be right back" he said to the group, as they all watched me with worry in their eyes

"Raina, what's wrong?" He said instantly as he closed the door behind him, since we went into Jillian's bedroom to talk

"I need your help" I said with a sniffle "remember that Time in 9th grade when we fake dated to make the girl you liked jealous?"

"Yeah... Why?" He asked, confusion lacing his tone

"I need to make this boy who played me regret it... And I need you too.. to be my fake boyfriend to do so" I said looking up at him "will you please?"

"Well actually... I need to make this girl I like jealous anyways... So I mean, yeah" He said, sitting down on the bed next to me "so.... Fake boyfriend and girlfriend?" He asked, holding up his pinky finger like a child causing me to let out a small smile

"Fake boyfriend and girlfriend" I assured, lacing our pinky fingers together.

"First order of business as your fake boyfriend... No more tears!" He said proudly as he wiped the tears that had fallen off my cheek "there... No more sad times, only bad bitch times! Now let's go tell the others!"

"Or.... We don't tell the others, that way it's more believable when they have to be surprised in our comments" I said as more or a question

"Well... So it's settled then, noone besides us shall know!" He smiled

"Besides Joe, Jack, and Jillian... They deserve to know, since Joe and Jack are family members and Jillian's like a sister" he just nodded and smiled
