Prologue
If I had known what would have been my faith, I would have stayed at home that night. If I had been more attentive to those 'warning signs' of 'impending doom', I would have never left my bedroom. If I had actually paid any attention to my grandmother's ramblings, I might have known that this was not something to mess with. Hell, if I had not chosen that night to comply with my mother and her fashion sense, and dressed in that bloody outrageous outfit, I might have been able to run away to safety, and pretend that nothing had ever happened. But I would not have been me, had I not adhere to the social conventions of the dumb blonde -ish- and therefore got myself into even deeper shit than even I would have expected.
