I split a second into two
Guess it showed me who ?
Within the broken pieces
I see what I know
You saw the pieces
But not the story behind
Your heart beat faster
When I pressed rewind
But the buttons stuck
And I'm out of luck
I keep circling around
And the turns keep getting rough
The road was never smooth
Just like our story
The rough patches
Enhanced its beauty
Take me to places tonight
Sometimes hard sometimes enough
Because all that I need now
Is a broken star to wish on above.
Should we end it here?
Or continue believing
The stars from above
Say something apart.
