I turned to Max and I repeated his earlier phrase, "Coming to Ghana was never a bad idea." He nodded in agreement, and we shared a smile. With the Chancellor's speech concluded, we each received the keys to our respective rooms, and the group began to disperse.

After few minutes of navigating the hotel's corridors, I finally found my room number and slipped the key card into the lock. I stepped inside, and I was taken aback by the stunning interior. The room was beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully considered to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It felt more like a luxurious home than a hotel room.

I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" I took in the elegant furnishings and amenities. The room was a tranquil oasis, and I felt my stress and fatigue melting away as I explored every nook and cranny.

As I stepped out onto the balcony, I was greeted by a breathtaking view that left me speechless. The scenery was stunning, and I felt my heart swell with excitement. "This is wild," I giggled, closing my eyes and inhaling the fresh air.

After taking a moment to soak in the beauty of my surroundings, I rushed back inside and pulled out my phone to call Mom and Bella. I couldn't wait to share every detail of my adventure with them, from the journey to the vibrant cultural dance at the airport, and of course, the incredible hotel room that was now my home away from home.

I stormed out of the bathroom, exhausted and frustrated after throwing up for the fourth time that night. The long flight had taken its toll, and all I wanted was to rest. But my body had other plans. Every thirty minutes, I was hit with a wave of nausea, sending me rushing back to the bathroom. It didn't make sense. I wasn't burning with fever, and I didn't feel sick either. "Argh, this is weird," I muttered to myself, collapsing onto the bed.

Just as I was trying to catch my breath, my phone rang. It was Bella. I answered without hesitation, grateful for the distraction. "Hey, I just saw your message. What's going on? You've been throwing up?" Bella's concerned voice came through the line, and I let out a deep sigh.

"I'm not okay, Bella. I feel restless and nauseous." I ran my fingers through my curly hair, feeling frazzled and unsure of what was happening to my body. My plans to visit Max after dinner were quickly forgotten, replaced by a growing sense of unease.

"You need to visit a doctor, Lani," Bella said, her voice firm with concern. And I let out a deep sigh, feeling a mix of frustration and worry.

"When it started, I didn't think it was a big deal, but now...I don't know, I just feel off. I definitely need to see a doctor." I bit my bottom lip, feeling a sense of unease.

"Alright, good. I'll call again to check on you. Bye."

"Bye," I replied, hanging up the phone with a huff.

I set out to find Max's room, but it was like searching for a needle in a haystack. The hotel was massive, and I wandered the corridors for what felt like an eternity. "Come on," I muttered to myself, scanning the room numbers. Just when I was about to give up, I spotted Max's room number. "There you are," I said, smiling, and raised my hand to knock on the door.

But just as my hand made contact with the door, I heard a faint moaning sound coming from inside and my face contorted in disgust. "Seriously?" I thought to myself. We had just arrived, and Max was already...indisposed. I hesitated, wondering if I should interrupt or come back later.

"Asshole," I muttered under my breath and walked away.

I made my way downstairs with my camera in hand, capturing anything that caught my eye. The staircase led me to a stunning blue swimming pool, and I couldn't help but gasp in awe. "Wow," I whispered, walking towards the pool with a huge smile on my face. As I approached the pool, I noticed a man standing at the other end, his back turned to me.
