Rylee's Pov

I smiled as we pulled up to our house. It felt like it's been forever. "I don't feel right leaving the hospital without Leilani." Austin put the car in park and just looked at me.

"She's with the same nurses as before. What's the difference?" I asked him. "The difference is that we're not there with her."

"Okay, okay. Please, just let me take a shower and we'll go back up there. Okay?" I said. He just shook his head and unlocked the door.

I took a deep breath. Ah, I missed the smell of my house. I walked upstairs when I had then noticed something. I backed up slowly.

Leilani's door is always open.

"Austin, I left her door open." I called out to him. He came up the stairs and looked at me, "You sure, baby?" he replied.

I opened the door.

"See, everything's in the same place." Austin spoke. I pointed at the teddy bear and note that was placed on her rocking chair.

"I hope you didn't think changing the code to your house will ever change anything. Congratulations on Leilani Jade Post. She's adorable. Hopefully, she likes the bear. You're still on our minds. Love, Aaron, Elijah, and Eden." I read.

No. No. No.

Hell no.

"I'm going to the hospital and getting my fucking child." I snatched the keys from Austin's hand. "Rylee, let's think this through." he yelled running after me.

"Are you fucking kidding me? There's nothing to think through. Those people are crazy. How did they even find out about her name, Austin? Did you tell Eden?" I asked.

"No, no I swear. Okay, let's just go to the hospital. This isn't feeling okay." he said in a much calmer tone.

We rushed to the hospital, ran the entire way where Leilani was. I was so uncomfortable from just giving birth and having surgeries, but at least I wasn't in any pain.

"Excuse me, we need to check on Leilani Post. It's an emergency." I told the desk nurse. "Hm, looks like Leilani was checked out maybe 15 minutes ago. Is there a problem?"

"Checked out? There's no way. We're her parents." Austin started arguing with the nurses until more nurses showed up.

Everything was beginning to take a toll on me. I couldn't be strong anymore. I'm experiencing the worse, most scariest experiences of life. I couldn't let anyone just take her.

I ran back to where the babies were. I looked for her, but she really wasn't here. "Ma'am, you can't be here. We're calling the police to see what happened." a nurse came up to me.

I got even more annoyed once she placed her hand on my shoulder. I know she didn't do anything, but how could they just let my baby leave to just anyone?

It wasn't long before the cops came and questioned everyone. By this time both of our parents were here which was really helpful in calming both of us down.

They were off talking to the side, but I felt the need to find a officer and ask for a favor. He agreed to help me out with another situation I had an issue with.
