Sunny skies
And cheerful smiles
Perfect laughter
Fills the air.
I sit in the corner
I bite my pear
And stare out the window
Eyes filled with despair.
Children holding hands
Shouting with glee
Oblivious to the quiet
Surrounding me.
I cannot deny this
Desire to pursue.
Oh how I wish
I were with you.
