The first day, first spirit

My anxiety gets to me before I even open the app, probably because I'm communicating with the dead.

I'm in school now, alone. Really early in the morning, oh God this app may kill me..

I load up the app, 'Calibrating senses' it says loudly in a robotic-male like voice.

Did Eric William Morris voice this, or something? The first thing that came to my mind was . . . Is this the Squip?
I asked for a Ghost Detector app, not Be More Chill.

I turn down my volume, I don't want to hear the Squip talking to me at all.

I feel unfazed by the way the app inverted the colours of the surroundings.

It takes a while for a spirit to appear, and it was in front of me which honestly gave me a fright.

It said 'Errant Spirit', what does Errant mean? I'll ask the internet later.

The first thing I do is ask for the name of this spirit.
