It's way past Halloween, and I'm still unsure why I did this so close to Christmas of all months. Maybe it was safer to do it so close to such a happy time?

Maybe, maybe not.

I don't even have a good reason for doing it, I guess it was because I wanted to talk to them again. Or just see some of my deceased family members again. Yes, we're talking about Spirits here.

I don't like calling them ghosts.
