As the story progresses, they learn how to survive. But... they must be careful as to not get too attached to one another. It can lead to bad things. (It's a MLM story but only platonic and I bit romantic I guess)

A storm hits and drags them out into the Bermuda Triangle where Brian is flung out into the sea. He washes up the next morning on an island, in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. He doesn't know if he can survive, until he meets a crew of unlucky flyers. Together they could survive, but separate they could fall apart. Especially with the elusive creature haunting the island.
