Maghahating gabi na ng makauwi si Agatha sa bahay ni Marc. Sinundo sya nito. Nakailang tawag din ang matanda sa kanya. Ngunit di nya iyon nasagot dahil naiwanan nya ang kanyang cellphone sa workers room kung saan sya nagpalit ng damit kaninang umaga na syang ikinabahala nman ng matanda.
"Why did you work that long hours in my hotel? Personal assistant work is an easy tasks Atha. And i cant reach sean also. Where is he anyway?Why did you leave so late?"tanong nito.
Nagdadalawang isip sya kung sasabihin ba rito na nagpalit sa ng trabaho sa hotel dahil ayaw nyang makasama ang lalaki sa loob ng offuce nito. Ok lang sana if ito ang nandun ngunit hindi eh.
"Ummm,sorry Marc. Dont be mad but i change work position. I did the chambermaid's work. I miss cleaning hotel rooms. "Mahinang paliwang nya rito.
"You doesnt like as PA? But i thought you wanted it. Thats why i let you work."anito na napailing iling pa.
"Sorry...its that.."aniyang agad nitong pinutol.
"I understand."anito sabay hugot ng buntong hininga sabay kinuha ang kanyang mga kamay at pinisil iyon.
"I guess i need to tell you the real reason why you are here."serious nitong saad sa kanya na kanyang ikinabaling rito ng marahas.
Nasa sala ng bahay ng lalaki. Sila lamang ang nanduroon di pa umuuwi ang anak nito. Nagpapahinga na rin ang mga katulong nito.
"W-what do you mean?"aniyang kinabakasan ng pagkalito at curiosity ang kanyang reaction.
"I join the website dating so that i can choose my own daughter in law. I wanted to know her better before she meets my own son who are unwillingly to come back home and settled for good. I am not getting any younger Atha and you know my health situation. I wanted to see my grandchildren before i pass away."paliwanagbnito na ikinatanga nya rito sa gulat ng rebelasyon nito sa kanya.
"But your son doesnt like me Marc. I better choose you rather than him. He is rude and sadistic!"reklamo nya rito na ikinatawa ng lalaki.
"Maybe he is but soon he will learn to like you as days passes by."anito
"Are you sure about that Marc? He hates me!"protesta nya.
"He wont hate you for so long believe me. You are beautiful and sweet charming lady. Witty and lively,have strong personality thats why i choose you, you know that?"muling turan nito.
"But-but that doesnt-"pagpoprostesta nyang muli ngunit maagap sya nitong napigil magsalita.
"Sshhhs....let me handle it. Just refrain yourself on getting in his nerves. He will come around and before this year ends you will marry him."imporma nito sa kanya.
"What?!"ang madagundong na wika ng bagong dating na lalaki.
"Sean!"sabay pang turan nilang dalawa ni Marc.
"I know somethings fishy is happening in this household but i didnt expect that you will manipulate my father just to get a wealthy nan to marry you!"madilim ang mukhang pag-iinsulto nito sa kanya.
"You cannot have my father thats why you are convinsing him to marry me?for what? For my money? Are you gonna seduce me just like my father so that i will agree in thus arrangements? Thats why you keep on flirting with me because you have hidden agenda right, Agatha? You let me lose control so that i can kiss you?!"pagpaparatang nito sa kanya.
"He did what?!"tanong ni Marc sa kanya.
"You are such a jerk sean. I didnt plan on seducing you nor cornering you to marry me! You just have a big ego whose stick in your high arse!"galit nyang pagharap sa lalaki.
"You mean to say Agatha he is taking advantage of you.?"di makapaniwalang turan ng ama ni sean.
"Thats right Marc!"pag-amin nya rito.
"Dad,dont believe her she just wanted our money-"anito na galit na pinutol ng ama nito.
"Shut up sean! I didnt raise you to be this disrespectful towards women!"galit na hinarap ng matanda ang anak nito.
"I am just telling the truth dad!"anito.
"Enough! You will marry her at the end of the month! THATS FINAL!"pagkawika nito lumapit ito kay agatha na umiiyak na sa isang tabi dahil sa pang-iinsulto ni sean dito.
"YOU CANT MAKE ME DAD!I WONT MARRY A GOLDDIGGER BITCH LIKE HER! HELL NO!"galit ding wika nito sabay bukas ng pintuan palabas at isinara iyon ng pagkalakas lakas.
