He holds her tightly in his muscular arms, his hot breaths sending chills through her spine. They hadn't been that close since the war began. They ran their hands through each others' backs, feeling all of the scars from every battle fought. He had always been pretty quiet and stoic, but lately, he had been acting pretty happy.

Maybe it's because of their confessions to each other, the sweet kisses she presses to her cheeks, or the nights caressing each other's scars. After all, they knew these scars held meaning and stories from all of the battlers they had fought. Some won, some lost. They had never imagined that they would have found love so early, especially after that. They were still 16, and after having near-death experiences and getting fatally wounded, they figured out that maybe they wouldn't ever see each other again, or survive. Sasuke's life had been really busy and heavy for him to handle, and after all of the emptiness the death of his brother caused, he didn't really think anything would be able to fill the empty space in his heart. Plus, the fights with Obito and Madara pushed him near his breaking point, even though Naruto had helped him out. But now, all of these bad things were gone. The war was over, and all they wanted to do was to recover all of the lost time... together, of course.

"After all of that mess," He says, running his slender fingers through her hair, and kissing her tenderly. "We still found love. {Name}, I'm glad I got to meet you." Oh, how they loved each other. They taught each other lots of things. He taught her to fight, and she taught him how to love again.

No, not only love.


She taught him how to adore.
