Wonder Writers Book Club [CLOSED]

✧ Mission XIV ~ December 1st - 31st ~ ✧

Thank you all for your patience in waiting for us through our reconstruction! We're back, full of energy, and hopefully better than ever!

But before you get on to them, remember to report any changes since last we met. The sooner most people have done this, the more accurate our system is. We use the 28th-30th for changes, requests and paperwork.  Chasing after hundreds of people is no easy task, so please, help us out! <3

Please be patient and gentle. Trying to keep track of everyone, on schedule, is a part-time cat-herding job. This is my second attempt, so please do not yell at JadedElegance or make her cry. The reason I have the 28th-31st for solving problems is to solve problems, but people were checking in at midnight on the 30th. :(  (An extra week was given to everyone, including the staff, due to many people reporting not making the deadlines due to RL holidays. )

If you changed your book, title, genre, group, or you have a partner whose book you've read before, please let us know. The recording system of who read what fell apart around member 200 and mid-2018. Getting that back on track is a long-term deal. <3

Some people were granted extensions on their November assignment. If you were one of them, please do finish ASAP, not on December 28th. Just a side note, JadedElegance has a birthday on December 29th. <3

If you've been skipped, asked to go on/off hiatus, or wonder why you're not on the list, please also PM JadedElegance or ask your group's admin. 

For those in Group 3, your leader is now lionobsession ! You may remember her as the last manager of the club, so she knows what's going on. Please note she's not back as a manager, so don't bombard her with stuff unless you're in Group 3! 

Mission Rules

~ You must read at least 8 chapters (or parts if the chapters are split up).

~ At the end of every chapter, you must post an overall comment consisting of 3+ sentences. They must be substantial, e.g. not 'This is great. I love it. I can't wait to read on', and include the #WWBC tag.

~ If you're unsure about what to comment on, try: writing style, possible improvements, favourite characters, descriptions, what you predict might come next, grammar, chapter structure, originality, etc. You may even want to comment about cover/title/blurb.

~ Feel free to vote, leave inline comments, and complete the Comment Topic. All of these are optional.

~ Once you have completed this, you can a) stop reading, b) continue reading that book, or c) request an Extra Mission. Also notify us if you should wish to keep your partner as a permanent Mission.

~ At the end of the month, you must report your points as a comment on this chapter in the following style: I have read __ chapters of @__________'s book, '_______________'. This makes it easier for the admins to record your points and saves them chasing you at the end of the month.
