Jamie's POV

"Come on" Jamie says as he pulls me into the elevator. I stay quiet, these past few days I've grown shy. We reach my apartment and Jamie opens the door, he has a key to.

"What are we doing here?"

"I wanna show you something" he than walks over to the book shelf that was disheveled and pulls out a thin hard covered book.

"You use to write some of these. You loved poems. You never showed me the whole book"

"I could show you now I guess"

"No, this isn't you Nicola and when your memory comes back I know you won't be happy that I read this. But I want you to have it, maybe it will help with your memory"

"Thank you" I say as I take the book from him.

Later that night I laid out on my bed, the lamp provided me with light to read.

"But how can I move on when your fingerprints are still on my heart and your voice still resonates down to me toes and your smiles lives in my eyes"

"It was just another day. No one special came, nothing unusual happened, the evening was the same. Just an ordinary day. And than the telephone rang. From that moment on forever, everything changed"

""I can still feel it..my hands shake,my legs tremble,my voice cracks,my brain crashes, and my heart breaks whenever I think of you.. It's there.. It's always there"

"Every night That I don't hear from you is like losing you all over again."

I read each poem emotionless, I did not ache as I read each one. They did not bring back a memory, they did not sting. Emotionless words written on paper, they meant nothing. In frustration I threw the book, I hated this feeling. I felt so empty, I hated not remembering.

A sudden knock on my door startled me and caused me to jerk back. I winced in pain for I still had bruises all over my body.

"Come in" I say through clenched jaws

"Hey a few of the guys are here, you can come say hi. We're probably gonna order pizza" Than Jamie closes the door with out allowing me to answer. I fix my hair before making my way out to the living room.

Faces light up as they see me.

"Nicola" I hear one call out

"Nic this is Brenden, Trevor, and Alex" says Jamie as he points out each one. I shyly smile and wave.

"She still doesn't remember anything?" questions one man

"No" sighs Jamie

"I'm gonna make a run to go get pizza, anyone wanna come with?" questions Tyler as he slips on his Black hoodie

"Um I'll tag along" I say causing Tyler and Jamie to look at me weirdly

"Really?" questions Tyler

"Yea" I drag out the word unsure of why he was questioning it.

"Okay let's go?"

The car ride was rather quiet until I caught Tyler singing along to a song.

"Who sings this? You seem to enjoy it" I chuckle. Tyler looks over and laughs under his breath.

"It's uh drake" he says as he taps on the steering wheel with the beat.

"And Rihanna, it's called Take Care.. Really good song"

"I can see" I laugh "Can you sing?"

"Me? Psh no"

"Come on sing"

"I know you've been hurt by someone else, I can tell by the way you carry yourself" he sings and I can't hold in my laugh, he was bad.

"I told you it was bad" he says embarrassed

"No, it's not that bad" I hold in a laugh "Defiantly better than like a dying cat so that's a plus"

"Don't say I didn't tell you I was bad"

Once we pull up to the pizza place Tyler and I go inside and not a single person notices him.

"They respect your privacy?"

"Here in Dallas, so far. In Boston not so much"

"Boston?"

"Yea I was just traded to Dallas, I've only played about 4 games with them so far"

"Oh, I still can't believe I'm their journalist"

"We'll now you're out on disability"

"I wish I could read what I have written.... I tried getting on my laptop but I can't seem to recall the password"

"Ask Jamie he probably has it" he says as he takes the three boxes of pizza's from the man behind the counter.

"Why so many?" I ask as I help him put them in the trunk

"You obviously don't know how much hockey players eat" he laughs
