Chapter 8

Don't worry, I won't tell.

What am I suppose to do with that? Should I think, he thinks, he knows something that isn't what I think, he thinks, he knows?
I'm lost. I really want to know what goes around in his head. Should I trust him anyway?
To think about other things I decided to follow the conversation of the girls about the teachers.

"I'm tired, should we leave or you guys are staying?" Talia asks us. I tell her that I'm tired too. Allie said that she'll stay a little longer and go back later.

We left and I went to sleep straight away.

***

Today was the first day of class. I couldn't wake up so I heard my roommates knock on my door. When I was finally awake I told them that they could leave when they were ready. I didn't want to make them be late because of me. So I heard them yell that they were leaving and that I had only 20 minutes left to get ready and that the new kids have an orientation in the science class in a building behind the dorms. So I hurried up to get ready and went to the building.

I entered and a couple of other students were already there. I see Ian waving at me. I go to meet Ian.

"Morning." He murmurs with a smile.

"Morning," I answer with the same murmur. "Why are we whispering?" I ask, still softly.

"Oh, it's because it's way too early in the morning to talk loudly." He whispers. I bet he's hungover and with that thought, I hold back a smile.

"Hello, everyone. Good morning." Thea says while entering in the room.

Thea started by telling us the rules of the camp. She explained not important things about the classes and she finishes by saying that she hopes everyone can be peaceful towards each other.
I'm about to enter the first class of the summer and it's learning to control your abilities whatever it is, (for the werewolves it's keeping yourself calm, the witches do not throw spell for whatever you want, you know the normal things around here).

I enter and I see a seat at the end of the class so I go there, (I don't like the front rows). We are five in the classroom. Even the teacher is not here but the rest of the students have four minutes to get here.
At the last minute, a group enters and take a seat, followed by the teacher. I guess being at the last minute is normal here. Or maybe it's just with this teacher.

Since I said I was a fairy, I have to do the exercise to not change the emotions of everybody whenever. I have no idea if what I'm doing is right or wrong. The hour passes quite fast. And after a couple of other hours, it was time for lunch.

I get inside the cafeteria. I see Allie and Talia sitting down, chatting so I go get my food and join them.

"Hey. How's your first day?" Allie asks.

"It's okay," I answer with a smile.

"Do you have any classes with Mr. Anderson?" Talia wonders. I look at my schedule and see that I have that teacher later today. "Yeah, I do, this afternoon, why? Is he mean?" I question.

"No. The opposite, he's the best teacher." Talia says with dreamy eyes.

"Talia's kind of crazy for that boring teacher," Allie states with a playful- evil tight-lipped smile. "It's kind of obsessive." She adds.
