its been a few weeks since i last saw cyrus. we didn't talk much, we weren't mad at each other or anything, we just didn't get a chance. so i decided to invite him to hang with me and my friends reed and lester.
when he gets to the track im in the middle of doing a wheelie. which is good because i need cyrus to know im cool. "heyyy! you made it cyrus!" he smiles "you didn't tell me there would be dirt bikes!"
"must have slipped my mind, this is lester and reed." i look at the boys praying they'd be cool. i looked back at cyrus spacing out a little bit.
"tj told me you were funny! say something else funny." reed what the hell. he replies with big words and i smile, my boys so smart.
my boy? uh oh.brain.. go away!

cyrus is on a dirt bike. he is riding one. oh my god im so proud. okay so he is bad. but holy crap he looks so cute.
i took a quick picture... or ten and continued cheering him on.
"come on cyrus you got this! try again!" reed starts laughing and i smack him, "stop." how dare he laugh at my boy.
he did it! "YES GO CYRUS!"
i ran over and high fived him and showed him the pictures. lester and reed are settong up watermelons and i know this isn't gonna go well.
cyrus walks away to go talk to reed. of course reed shows him the gun. i told him not to take it out if cyrus was around.
"do you know whats in that bag?" i snap out of ny thoughts and look down at cyrus. "yeah.." i look away.
"im gonna go."
"okay."
"i think you should too."
i look at him, he wants me to leave. i see the pain in his face. god i should leave with him. i look away.
"tj.."
i look back at him trying not to tear up. he leaves without another word. thats it. i lost him. there's no way to fix this... i lost cyrus goodman. he's gone.
