Chapter One

LONELINESS

Ralsei sat alone. It had been a week after Kris and Susie had left.

Lancer was busy with being the new king, leaving the fluffy boy alone once again.

He sighed. The lonley prince wished Kris and Susie never had to leave.

He could remember Susie saying something called 'school' when she and Kris had first arrived. He wondered what a school was.

"Ralsei!"

Ralsei's head perked up. Who called him? Had Kris and Susie come back?

Ralsei turned around. The silhouette of Lancer's body was slowly coming into view.

Ralsei stood up. Why did Lancer come?

"Lancer? I thought you were busy..."

A huge smile was plastered on Lancers face.

"Well, you thought wrong!"

The presance of Lancer made the Prince feel less lonely.

Lancer stared at Ralsei.

"What's wrong?"

The question caught him off guard. Ralsei looked at the ground.

"I-I just miss them..."

Lancer sighed. Why did he sigh?

"I do too. But they'll come back eventually."

Ralsei looked up at the ball of sunshine.

"But what if they don't?"

Lancer gave Ralsei a look of suprise.

"What makes you say that?"

"I dunno..."

A terrifying sound filled the air. It sounded like damage being taken. Worry began to bubble inside of Ralsei.

"What was that?"

"You think I know?!"

"..."

"Sorry."

Ralsei felt bad. He didn't mean to snap at Lancer.

The familiar shape of a red heart floated in front of them.

"Is that...?"

"Yep."

The heart shook.

"What is it doing?"

Before Ralsei could answer, the heart split in half.

"Kris?"
