Hajime Hinata sat thinking. "Im useless, talentless, and have nothing going for me." His love for Hope's Peak made him come as a reserve student. "I love this place, but I feel like I don't belong. Oh right, cause I'm nothing" Then he zoned back in and shivered a bit. "Okay Hope's Peak here I come."

Chiaki Nanami sat in the back of homeroom of the 77th class of Hope's Peak. She was playing on her console but knew what was going on around her. Her classmates came in late one at a time while the rest who were already there were complaining. "Alright are you ready for a good day?" Mrs. Yukizome asked. "Yes" everyone said "uhuh" Chiaki replied.

Hajime saw Chiaki sitting on a bench on her console. "Is that (insert popular video game here)?!? I love that game!" " It is, and it's super fun" Chiaki said. "I'm Hajime Hinata" "I'm Chiaki Nanami." "Are you an Ultimate?" "I am, I'm the Ultimate Gamer" Hajime stared into her glittery eyes as she was so focused on her game to notice. 'Game Over' flashed on the screen in big red letters as could be seen through her pink eyes. "Mm" Chiaki sort of grunted, she started again. She was really good "What level are you, Hajime?" "Uhh twenty four I think, you?" It took her a sec to reply "Oh uhh I think I'm" she squinted in her console " level fifty eight." "Fifty Eight?!?" Hajime said "Your really good" "Hey, wanna play with me?" She asked "Sure one on one?" He replied "Challenge Accepted" she giggled back.

They played for a long time, Chiaki winning every round. "You're really good, Chiaki." "So are you, Hajime"
"No I'm not, I'm not good at games, I'm not good at anything, I don't even have a talent." He put his game down and looked at Chiaki's screen "So?" She said as she blew her soft brown hair out of her face and remained focused. "A talent doesn't define you, it doesn't make you any different, it just states what you like, and what your good at." She seemed beautiful all the sudden "Well picture this, if you were a bad gamer, would you still play your games?" "Of course I would, I love games, even if I don't win"
