sweet nectar

My favorite season has always been winter, I used to pray for snow as a child and still do sometimes.

I loved the idea of Christmas trees and holly jolly goodness circulating the atmosphere. That is, until I discovered something sort of spectacular. Bees. Not just the fat little bees you see bumbling around poking the daisies(Bellis perennis)but the ones who sting with visible rage.

The anger little fighters create a sweet nectar we call honey. Around 22,700 trips to the fields just to make a single jar of honey. An entire bees lifetime is spent on a moment of satisfaction that we'll forget in a few minutes. Unlike the cows who cry out or the chickens who boast with their morning calls the bees stay silent, working away until they can work no longer just for the next generations to continue their expertise.

My family has beekeepers in it, I find the bee suits to be a hilarious form of protection from the small stingers.

Despite though, the rage that fills them they give us honey. The product used to help injured people and sweeten delicacies.

I personally can't stand honey, it makes me sick to the core but I still appreciate it nonetheless.
