Chapter 4: Happy Beginning Bad Endings

She smirked and backed up "me get real? says the one who is with a tramp" I glared at her "leave her name out of your mouth" I threatened

She held her chest "ouch that hurt" she said

Her hand snaked up my chest "What about what we had?" she whispered slowly getting closer to me, she leaned up on her tippy toes and whispered into my ear "I'm here anytime" and with that she turned around but not before slipping a kiss onto my cheek.

"Oh nice seeing you Cory!" waved Autumn

I turned around to see Cory holding Alexa's wrist, tears filled her eyes "I tried stopping her!" said Cory

I walked up the steps slowly, Cory shivered as I got to the top step, "Leave now" I said coldly looking at Cory. She quickly let go of Alexa and ran downstairs

Alexa tried to run away also "Let me go!" she screamed "Cant" I said in reply

Tears fell from her face "Why are you doing this to me! Who do you like!? I'm so confused.." she screamed wiping her eyes on the back of her sleeves. "Let me show you..." I whispered

*wham!*

"Alice! Don't!" she stammered

I pressed her body harder against the wall, her hands pressed against my chest

*Bam!"

"Ow! Let go!" she cried

I held her wrists above her head, she was defenseless. No matter how hard she fought I knew she wanted this to happen. I leaned down coming eye to eye with her.

"Look at me." I said kindly

Her tears streaked face looked up slowly meeting my eyes.

"I like you only you."

*mmph!*

I leaned down till our lips met, the warmth of hers gave me chills. We stayed like that for what seemed like hours but was only two minutes. I pulled back and walked downstairs "Were going to be late if you don't hurry up" I said smirking

She leaned against the wall shocked

I grabbed my bag and keys "come on!" I screamed

She ran down the stairs almost running into me, I opened the door for her letting her walk out.

"Where's your car?" she asked

I chuckled slowly walking over to my motorcycle. I lifted my leg and sat on the bike. "hop on" I said holding out a helmet

Her eyes went wide "that's yours?" she said

"No I stole it" I said

Her eyes went even wider

"I'm just kidding" I said

She slugged me in my shoulder wrapping her leg around the bike, she placed her hands slightly on my hips.

"Sigh like this" I said pulling her arms all the way around me

I could feel her face turn red without even turning around.

I laughed slowly kicking off and starting the bike, we drove in silence towards the school.

I hopped off the bike lending my hand to help her, she silently nodded her head and began walking towards the school. I watched her tense up as I poked her side "ticklish much?" I said smiling

We weren't dating but we had that kiss... I laughed at the thought "Alice!" screamed my friends I turned around to see them jogging towards me "what?" I said lowly

They froze in their place "your um requested by another school gang" they said lowly

"Tsk okay let's go" I said, we walked towards the entrance of the school where the gang members stood waiting.

"May I help you?" I said approaching them

"Yeah you may" one said stepping off the wall, he closed in on me.

"Let's just get this done with" I said

He laughed throwing his jacket off the boy pulled out a bat, I snickered. Let's begin.

"Alice watch out!"

*wham!*

I fell to the ground blood splattered the ground next to me... the gang leader squatted down next to my head. "Get away from our leader!" Cory slammed into the boy knocking him away. I stood up holding my head. "We need to get you to a hospital!" screamed Adam

*cough* "You may have defeated us but someone precious to you is going to die.." and with that the leader and his gang took off. I turned and took off running towards the school.

"Find Alexa!" I screamed to my friends

I searched the entire school, as I reached the back. I heard screams faint but noticeable. I rushed to the scene, Alexa laid on the ground. Girls furiously kicked her from every side. I took off towards the group as one of them pulled out a pocket knife.

"We should scar that pretty face just so she won't love you anymore!" they screamed

The knife came down on Alexa...

*splatter!*

*screams*

*cough cough*

I staggered against the gash on my arm... blood dripped down onto my shirt. The sight of it was soothing...

I looked at Alexa and whispered "I'll always protect you"

"Why did you do that!?" screamed Autumn

I looked over at the girl who had tears in her eyes "I will always protect the ones I love don't you know that?" I said coughing

The girl broke down crying

"Let's go!" she screamed then took off running all of her girls followed

"Alice!" screamed Cory followed by my friends

I staggered backwards holding my arm, Alexa supported me from behind

"We gotta get her to a hospital!" she screamed

I watched as Cory dialed 911, Alexa shrugged off her jacket and placed it on my wound "are you crazy?!" she screamed

"For you yes" I said laughing

She slugged me in my arm tears filling her eyes. Bright red lights filled my vision, "Ah back to the hospital..." I said laughing

I got ready to stand up...

*Bam!*

"Alice!" but my body couldn't take the pressure anymore...

"She has a severe wound to the head!" screamed the medic

My body was lifted onto a stretcher, why is it I am still awake?

"Were losing her!" they screamed

Oh that's right... I'm losing to much blood... I guess I should take me a nap...

"Alice! please stay with us! don't leave me!" that voice... Alexa... I can't leave yet...

"We got a pulse!"

The ambulance took off moving at full speed towards the hospital... even if I fought the urge to sleep... I'm still losing to much blood...

We arrived at the hospital, Alexa held onto my hand as we ran to the ER, I watched as the doors closed on her tear streaked face... "I'm sorry..." I thought

I slowly let go... my vision darkened...

"Were losing her!" I heard them scream

*beep beep zzzzz*

The pulse went dead...
