Chapter 4: Happy Beginning Bad Endings

Today school starts back the more I think about what will happen scares me. I will have to face Alexa...

Ever since I returned her feelings, I can not face her so for the rest of the break I stayed inside. Sometimes she would stop by but I would ignore the banging and furious doorbell rings... "I like you..." ugh why did I say that now?! I should of waited or flirted with her to see how it feels...

"Alice! Get downstairs now!" screamed my roommate

Groan "I cant!" I screamed back

I heard loud stomping coming up the stairs "oh god I'm dead" I hid under my blankets

"I will seriously kick your ass if you don't get up!" screamed Cory

Alexa slid behind her, slowly poking her head up above Cory's shoulder.

"Why is she here?!" I screamed face turning red

Alexa's expression darkened

"You two need to talk! and Alice you need to go home once and awhile!" said Cory

Alexa looked at Cory weirdly after she said "home"

I looked at Alexa running my hands through my dark hair "Foster family" I mumbled

Cory shifted her feet "sorry" she mouthed to me, I slowly got up and put on my pants and tank top I turned and faced the embarrassed Alexa

"What? were all girls here" I said nonchalantly

She looked down at her feet, I nodded to Cory to leave the room. Alexa took off her jacket and threw it onto my bed.

"What the hell Alice!" she screamed

I laughed leaning against the window, the girl looked at me with rage in her eyes. She took a step towards me slowly till she was inches from me.

My hands gripped the window sill, she looked up at me her blue eyes burned straight through me. I smirked "You're short" I whispered

She pushed against me, I fell against the window. "A-Alexa!" I screamed

She ignored my words and leaned closer to me, I could feel her breath on my lips. She cocked her head slightly, her hands snaked around my neck pulling me closer. I let go of the window sill and wrapped my arms around her waist. I looked into her eyes and we leaned closer....

*knock knock*

I pushed her off of me, my heartbeat raced rapidly.

"C-Come in!" I screamed trying to catch my breath. Alexa laid on my bed covering her face, I fixed myself right as Cory walked in.

"There's someone here requesting to see you right now" she whispered

I looked up at the girl her face looked ghostly as she gave me the message. "who is it" I said

Cory flinched as I asked that

I grabbed my jacket and walked out, I patted Cory's shoulder "watch Alexa for me will ya?" I whispered passing by she nodded her head a sad expression covered her face. I shook my head and walked downstairs, red hair came into view as I stepped off the last step....

"Autumn" I said coldly

She turned around a happy expression filled her face "Alice!" she screamed running at me I stopped her before she could touch me. "Why are you back in the states." I said lowly she looked up at me giving me a pouty look "But aliceee I wanted to see you" she said in her kid voice I pushed her away and "get real autumn! Stop acting like your so innocent" I said
