KIMORA

Once Caleb gave Adam his hug, I didn't hesitate to do the same. At first, I thought it was just a dream or maybe my mind was playing tricks on me but, when he hugged me back, I knew this wasn't a dream.

"I can't believe you're actually here!" I muffled into his chest.

"Here I am." He said and I stepped out of his hug, craning my neck to look up at him. He was almost as tall as Jaxon which was something I wasn't used to. His short and chubby appearance was now muscular and tall. His hair was cut shorter and wasn't hanging down to his shoulders.

"You look so different."

His eyes traveled down my body and I shifted slightly. "You look very different too. Caleb still looks the same."

Caleb opened his mouth ready to retort but, nothing came out because Adam was right. Caleb very much looked the same.

"Your hair isn't stuck in its short stage and you don't have braces," Adam noted. I smiled. "Yeppers. Now my hair is official longer than yours!"

"Long hair looks good on you." His eyes went behind me and I glanced over my shoulder to Jaxon watching us.

"Oh, how rude of me." I grabbed Jaxon's hand, bringing him closer. "Jaxon, this is my childhood best friend, Adam. Adam, this is my boyfriend, Jaxon."

Adam looked a little bothered before he smiled. "Nice to meet you."

Jaxon nodded curtly. "You too."

Adam nodded. "Well, you seem like an alright guy and Kimora is very special to me so you have a good girlfriend."

"I know."

"So when did you get back?" I asked Adam and he shrugged. "Last night. We only stayed in the hotel until your Mom wanted to tell everyone the news."

"You're staying here?!" I gasped and he nodded along with my Mom.

I clapped my hands together. "That's amazing! Where is your Mom anyway?"

"She's not feeling well but, I rushed over because couldn't wait to see you. I missed you both."

"We missed you too." I smiled for about the fifth time. My cheeks were starting to hurt. Adam turned to Matthew who was sitting on the couch, not giving a care in the world. "Hey, Matthew. You definitely changed too."

"Yeah," Matthew said.

"He still doesn't like me?" Adam asked me and I shrugged. "I guess so."

"Alright!" My Mom clapped her hands together, getting all of our attention. "Marcus won't be here for a little bit longer and then we'll all have dinner together. You three can run off and catch up."

I gasped. "Oh! Jaxon got me the puppy I always wanted! You have to see him!"

"Okay."

JAXON

I watched Kimora and Adam go upstairs to Kimora's bedroom with Caleb following behind them. There was an eerie feeling about him that I couldn't shake off. He seems very nice but, I could see the way he looks at Kimora is more than just a childhood friend.

He loves her.

I know there wasn't a reason for me to worry. Kimora and I are closer... maybe not as close as he was with her but, the way they talked spike jealousy in me. She smiled so vibrantly and was so excited to see him.
